    Is it intended that CSL DD users still have to use the CSW2.5 compatibility mode so that the base is recognized?
    Although there is now a default profile for CSL DD?

    Yes, I just tried testing the new default profile. And the base is still only recognized in CSL 2.5 Combatible Mode, not in Pc Mode.
