English 2 Hours of Monza GT3 Event

Yes my plan is that players sign in here, maybe with a leadboard hotlap.

 

As said it was a bit spontanious, and to get a full grid of totally commited to 2hr race drivers is very optimistic.

I really like this idea of endurance race. These sorts of races will have to be planned at least a week in advance. It would be awesome to a 8-9 race series of a 1 hour races! Maybe around the 12am/pm GMT Friday or Saturday, depending on who joins. I.e mericans, europeans

 

So there's another 2 hour race next week? bleek i missed this one!

Absolutely ! It was the "endurance" aspect that caught my attention and really made me want to take part in this race. I like sprint races, but the common 20 minute format on most public servers is just a bit too short for my liking: by the time I get into my rhythm, the race is almost over. And these short races induce some real "gung-ho" driving from quite a few drivers out there In a long race, anything can happen over time and you have to nurse your car around the track to make it to the finish, that's the attraction for me.

So I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, still hoping I can make it for the next one. Last time it was easy as my girlfriend's been away on a business trip to China, so I had all the time in the world to indulge in my simracing habit. She'll be back tomorrow, so I'll have to balance my addiction with my "social obligations" again

 

Okay seriously confused by this.... Yes you definitely need confirmed sign up and a week notice. Some clear timings (figured it out but it wasn't too clear. Possibly better to run this sort of thing on a Saturday night, gives Pacific a chance to compete too.

But love the enthusiasm mate, you just need to attract the hardcores. Sounds like if half the field quit you had mostly casuals.

Hello Tarik, can you count me in for next event, or is there a training server to show you my good racing behaviour, or where can I sign up?? Must say, great idea, long distance endurance races..with some serious racers.. I like it!!
