Forgot about Zolder. Bathurst would be a massive draw card, but financially better (for Sector 3) to be paid for. I tend to favour the same style of track as you, we need more of them, but that is for the other thread.

After the update I lost the full setup of my V2 Fanatec.
Have almost a year to get this to work the right way, now after one update is it all away ???

the ffb on the new tire model is completely different are you sure its not that?
I still have my old setting but have reverted them to default cause it works really well with the new physics

 

I still have my old setup for wheel, but I had to change it a little bit

it is on the the thread about wheel settings. but i know that the wheels work differently on a software and hardware level so i don't want to say i have a amazing setup to give you when i know wont work.

Love the new heavy M1 Procar!
And it seems that the dirt build up is on that car as well?
At least the sound of it is.


The gear prevention didn't seem to work, could downshift really quick.
But on the other hand, after only the first risky downshift my engine wasn't feeling well, and the second time it bust.. So it's good!

I do miss the new sexy onboard replay cameras in the M1 though..

what I don't like are the brakes of M1, they dont' stay at the optimun temperature and here there aren't ducts to set, so they are really weak, difficult to lock the wheels and I don't think this car had ABS

 

The brake distance don't bother me.
I have now idea how long it should be, but it's an old car.
Your right about the lock up though, slamming the brakes don't lock 'em..

I think Hockenheim would be a nice contender for a free track. (if they have plans to add more free tracks that is)

Firstly it has three layouts, which is a minimum for a free track to give bigger variety imo.
It's also a flat track, the other two have much elevation changes.
@shardshunt, the short layout is really fun with low powered cars.

But it is also included in many packs / experiences, which will make those a bit cheaper and hopefully more tempting to pick up for newcomers.

 

Also most existing players who own it will have bought it as part of a pack. If they made a non-pack track like Bathurst or Spa free, the folks who'd paid for it would be a bit cranky. But then, folks tend to get cranky regardless.

I do think another free track would help showcase the new free cars. Portimao is a bit of a ball ache with the cut track penalties and RaceRoom Raceway is, er, an acquired taste

 

it doesn't matter it's an old car, I'm almost sure in that age technique was able from decades to do brakes locking wheels

 

it should also be american I think currently we have a made up track and a european track why no try and appeal to a different audience.

 

The short config is also a heap of fun in the WTCC cars and even more crazy in the prototypes (I have a short track prototype championship going, it's pretty wild

 

I always choose the short layout for Hockenheim on my custom championships, not a big fan of the other layouts but the short one is really fun!

 

If we're talking free tracks here then why not Silverstone and give it to all of us free, be no I paid this for that problems and a bit of a thankyou to the long time supporters of S3!

@J-F Chardon , is it possible to give us a time frame on when we can purchase skins for the GT3 Class and the Ruf? It's pure torture to see the black and white Nissan liveries and not be able to give em a spin as well as the Red Bull Ford GT Skin (and of course the Ruf). Thanks!!!
