    Content
    • Added new layouts for Oschersleben.
    • Ruf RT12R (GTR2 car class) now has latest physics as it had slipped from previous patch.
    Known issue in this update
    • An icon on the Mini HUD display for suspension damage has found its way into this build. It's purely visual and no suspension damage is actually happening just yet. We'll get it removed asap.

    Game
    • Dedicated server - BETA - Added Car and User weight ballast. We couldn't fully test on full servers given the small size of the betatesting team, so please let us know of any bug you may encounter.
    • Menus - Reworked the track selection screen to show all the tracks on one page, along with a search box.
    • Improved slowdown penalty calculations
    • WebHUD - Added support for URL's that contain dashes.
    • Virtual Mirror can now be moved lower than 0.970370 in hud_options.xml



    • Fixed an issue with slowdown penalties not counting down when slowing down on the pitlane exit path. (Thanks to Jardier for experiencing this bug first hand)
    • Fixed a game crash on hillclimb tracks
    • Fixed the live delta timer that would break at the third restart of a hillclimb run.
    • Fixed spectator client not receiving all data when joining a race in progress.
    • Fixed some localization issues on the notification area of the HUD
    • Shared memory - Added thorough checks to "num vehicles" and whether or not a slot is valid in the "driver_data" array to limit occurence of duplicates.
    • Shared memory - Fixed engine_type that was never set.
    • Live Timings - Fixed a case where split times would be incorrect when a player left the server while being first within a given class.
    • Fixed a missing localization for "Delayed start in pitlane" message.

    But when is there a fix for the Nordschleife multi classes.. ai behaviour?

    That's embarrassing, only drove the RUF GT2 variant the other day and thought how well it drove. :oops: always had a soft spot for it, best try again I guess! :rolleyes:

    I'm sure it still had most of the latest physics, just missing a few of the final touches

    The new track selection screen is awesome! As well as the new layouts for Oschersleben! :D

    Didnt even notice the plural until you mentioned it again. But the more the better :D

    Yeah now we have 4 layouts. Only the school course is missing. Oh and Brands Hatch GP! :D

    The only thing that would make the track selection screen better would be rearranging some of the entries IMO. I always have a hard time finding say Zolder or Zandvoort, because I'm looking for them at the end under "Z", while they're under "C" (as in "circuit").

    Hah, I wondered what the hell was that new icon (suspension) that showed instant 100% damage!

    I loved this car so much the last times I drove it and I was convinced it was becouse of the new physics... goddam placebo :D

    Now it makes more sense... I think

    Actually Oschersleben Layouts are great:)
    BUT Ai-Drivers line need a fix (very slow) in motorcycle config at the Pit -In/-Out! :rolleyes:

    thank you for this update.
    We found again the mobile back train that we had lost during the update of GT22 physics

    A real pleasure to feel again the engine in rear overhang.

    A real pleasure to drive this RUF GTR2 again

    Negative point :
    as soon as we touch a wall (Bathurst for example), the car is still more stuck to the wall than before. The nose of the car is as sucked by the wall

    I would almost be willing to bet that if they would release a patch with patchnotes claiming a complete physics update without actually touching a thing, plenty of people (myself included, quite likely) would still praise how much better the physics is now (and probably the same amount of people would post about how the car is now ruined and undriveable) ;)

    Placebo is a powerful thing, often underestimated.

    2nd but about the cars selection, it would be nice to have something like the car selection in Pcars2. In R3E you have to scroll to many pages in my opinion.

    They could do it like they've done with the track selection page. The players seem to like it, so I don't see why they can't do the same with the cars.
