Gaphics card usage should be high. If it isnt, that means something isnt working properly. You should always be getting 90% gpu usage in nearly any game you play, unless it is ancient (10+yrs old) and requires very little horsepower to run. Realistically, you should be getting 95+% gpu usage.

And the built in Steam fps counter does the trick just fine. Activate it through: steam/settings/in-game. Via the Steam window.

Havent noticed any problems with my system. There is a slight dip at the 24 hrs Nords layout, but not on any other layout or any other track.

Not sure what it could be as none of the other testers had performance issues either =/

This actually could be a solution. I know recent Nvidia drivers have been borked and in some cases completely broken. I have been running with 355.82 since August '15 and havent had any graphics issues in R3E while using them.

Thanks, hadnt realised steam had a FPS counter. I dont think i'm running the latest nvidia drivers, certainly havent updated them in the last few weeks. Its just been noticable since the update. I'll check things out and see whats up.
I know usage should be high, which is why i've always been amazed R3E has never been high!

I guess i'd better give details of my system, i5-4690K with no-overclock, 8gig ram, GTX980 running 3x24" 1920x1200 screens. I run OpenHardwareMonitor measuring CPU usage, temps and GPU temps and usage.

Just tried running a leaderboard challenge around Spa in the Ruf GTR3.
    Vsync on -60FPS
    GPU: 50%
CPU: 20-35% - Hard to watch when trying to drive!
Vsync off typically around 110 to 130FPS
    GPU: 97%
    CPU: 50-75%

Lol just checked my Nvidia driver version - 353.62 bit old then! Just tend to be wary of updating it.

However i do run an ingame FOV of 0.8X as it actually helped a bit to compensate for the angled monitors but switching it back up 1.0X actually felt better. Strange.

Just started A DTM 2015 Custom Championship, and it's awesome, (Almost forgot how fun those cars are!! :D) but there is a bug with the tire wear, at least on Bathurst.
Could see them drop a millimeter ot two, then it stopped wearing anymore.

And also, the new pop up huds:

@J-F Chardon Is it a bug that I still see them with huds of in options?
Or will I atleast be able to turn all huds of in the near future!?
It brakes the immersion!.. . "What, I'm not in a real DTM car at Bathurst!!??..:sob:;)

And whats the point of this hud??
When the DRS gets activated, I se it on the Led display (and hear a beep), and when I'm out of range, it remains red.. o_O

Is it just me or is the AI slower after this update? I had a FR2 championship pre-patch with AI difficulty att 111%, then now I go to single race and practice to test AI speed and with AI @111% im 1.3sec faster on a lap then 2nd place... I mean, its no problem ofc since it's just to turn up the difficulty but just wonder are they slower or am i faster

Can't say about AI with %, but some times Adaptive AI extremely fast if they ahead you and extremely slow if beyond :) For me it GT2 for ex.

They seem slower to me. The adaptive ai aren't keeping up. So I went to preset strength and had to up them 5%.

Which car are you talking about in the DTM 92 class?

I checked the Opel and there was no TC on the car. Since TC is more or less a class feature, either all of the cars would have it, or none of them would. And since the Opel doesnt, my guess is that none of the others do.

Can you take a screenshot of the car setup menu showing that TC is active? But first, make sure you click "reset to default" in the car setup menu.

Yes. I'm agree with Roman. Just going to BMW setup and see. You can setup TC for it. By default all TC preset set to 0, but you can set it manually

    It shouldn't.
That's why I said it must be a bug.

I did GT3 cars the past two days, not from the ADAC but the GT3 pack. All cars that I tried had TC, and it made a difference on track for sure - it is functional. Get Real physics here.
