Released 30-06-2016 RaceRoom has been updated

Dear fellow racers, I do have some questions concerning latest patch:

1. Is there a possibility to have a look at these new cars/liveries without starting race after race without actually racing, only to see the new liveries driven by AI? Really looking forward to the Alzen Ford GT, Falken Po... Ruf, orange Dörr McLaren and Haribo SLS.

2. Was the green Bentley removed from the game prior to last patch and did now return, or was it in the game the whole time? Havent seen one for a while until today.

1. Not until they have officially been released.
2. Was there the whole time, but can't be purchased.

 

Especially regarding the Bentley not the answer I was hoping for, my thoughts/hopes were more like "hasnt been here for a while, maybe it's back because it'll be available soon", particularly because it's a 24h Nürburgring livery.

Hmm, yeah. That was intended as a big maybe and a long l a t e r.

 

Since the new patch the first half race lap is missing in the replay.

Maybe someone posted it before didn`t read it all.

 

Hard to believe but the MP races are absolutely flawless, even with 32 opponents. No ping 0, no lag. Fantastic!

 

Yeah, this is a known issue and being looked into

 

I'm using the V3 here only plugged on the USB and changing to these values helped a little but the throttle pedal is still vibrating a lot, even with the car not moving.
Really thought that it would vibe only in certain ocasions?!

 

Had no issues playing the game yesterday.

But its a shame that after X updates the "cut track message" overlapping the virtual rear view mirror is still not fixed.
How hard can it be to change the Y position of the message...

Its a great game but it would be nice if the little annoying things also get some attention.

 

I second this and let me ad: why do I need to know at all if someone else has done a track cutting or so and gets punished for this?

and it can influence your race pretty much... for example if the car is in front of you or close behind you - but yeah... if it is one of the back markers in the field it doesn't care much...

 

I just had a DTM race and noticed that "DRS Available" is no longer displayed, thank you for that. I hope you would take it step further and allow options to turn off "Track cut" and "Fuel low" messages, reason being CrewChief gets this from shared memory, and successfully announces that. On screen messages hurt immersion. Please

 

Is your engine vibration at 0%? Just curious, I am getting impression they pass engine vibration through pedals too.

 

My pedals also vibrate when the car is not moving (engine running), but that is due to the rumble from my Fanatec V2 wheel base (using Fanaleds), transfered throughout my entire rig. The rumble motor in the pedals is not working at that time.
Don't know what your setup is, but it might be for the same reason...?

 

Do you mind sharing, what do you gain with Fanaleds in R3E?

 

TBH, not much in R3E, a bit more adjustability for the rev lights and some more life in the steering wheel.
I mainly started using Fanaleds for AC to get the rev lights on my Fanatec Porsche 918 RSR working, but that is only working until Kunos brings out a new patch and its broken again until Fanaleds updates again.
That and the fact that without Fanaleds the LCD screen shows nothing either, in AC that is...
