What does this mean exactly? If I have 15 GTR3's and 15 GTR4's, will I start 20th if I select that no matter what class?

    Some more info regarding this:

The example use we made out of it is one we think most of you will enjoy, we have this little app that reads the game's shared memory and feeds the data to a webpage made to receive it.

However this isn't the only application. If you're a streamer, you could have your chat right on top of the game while you drive, or have Twitch controls right there at your finger tips, etc.

A dedicated thread to discuss ideas and ask questions specifically about this feature is now opened here --> https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/in-gameplay-web-overlays.12947/

From your example, you will start last within your own car class. So 16th if GT3 or 16th in GT4.
Before this change, you would have ended up in 20th position overall, regardless of your class.

    A step in a better direction ;)
Now when can we expect the dedi to have weight adjustments.
We have always had the leader in a specific championship carry 150kgs for P1 and so on so that our championships were exciting, then we had one per class or a weight for and individual car we felt was too fast so we just gave it 25kgs which was ok.
Right now you made adjustments to the BOP of GT3 but i cant assure you we are going to see new complaints and then we'll keep running around in circles adjusting cars, that's why its must better just letting leagues control this through the dedi

@RACE ROOM V ballast weights almost made it but we had some bugs and I didn't want to push a feature you can't fully rely on in a competitive environment.

You know we're working on it :)

I really appreciate that you responded this quick, Race Room for me is the No 1 sim available(in my opinion) but lacks these features thats important to leagues, same as the weather, i used a tool in the past in Race 07 to control the weather during a 90 Min GTR race where it went from sunny to heavy rains, thunder then light rain at SPA and this made it such an exciting race in a league because non of us knew when to pit and how it would end up. Real challenges and awesome events that we speak about on the forums for days!
So thanks for the small update

@RACE ROOM V I know that tool very well, in fact I was a league admin back then myself and I kept annoying SimBin because of "random" weather would never truly generate random values in weather.txt.

I annoyed them so much over this that they hired me.

    @J-F Chardon

It seems like no data is sent to simcommander, it doesn't work.

Just tested, it's not required for normal useage.
So I assume that's for .. developing custom stuff / perhaps debug related.
