Maybe it would be a good idea (as this happens way too often imo), to put somewhere on a homepage of R3E a Network Status Information? cheers. PS: Amazing Racing-Simulation... great physics, ffb, sound and authentic and "alive" driving feeling imo.
I have not been able to get on at all for the last two nights now, keep getting this damn 503 error, anyone else having this issue as well atm? Is this a common thing as it is starting to rub me up the wrong way, generally i can only get on about 50% of the time.
Authentification-Server is down. How smart is it actually to enforce an internet account validation just to play offline i ask myself.
I've given up, will try again tomorrow, if no luck I will just shelve the game again and go to the competitors.
I have a 503 error since yesterday. i can no more play to R3E... Sector3, please can you tell me how to do ? Or please do definitively the right thing to avoid this problem ?
There's no rhyme or reason to why some people consistently get 503 errors while others don't. I played R3E all day yesterday without a hitch, but there have been other times where I was unable to play the SP content I've paid very handsomely for. Always online for SP is just not acceptable if their servers are not always online too. R3E has a lot to recommend it as a game (thanks devs), but little to recommend it as a product (thanks publishers).
works now for me. additional (thanks s3s support) try this: Please try the following: Go to the following folder: \Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\BrowserData Delete the "Cache" folder Try starting the game Also try: Go Steam > Settings > Downloads and change "Downlaod Region" to a different location.
Try this: 1. Raceroom has to be closed. 2. Log in to the Raceroom portal in your standard web browser. 3. Once logged in start the game. Worked for me every time I had an connection error. And the most important point: Don't let occasional connection errors keep you away from the best racing sim out there!
Was about to give this up but then cleared the cache as mentioned and it worked! What does clearing the cache actually do? I don't even know what cache is!
Well the only way I can now get the game to run is to login to raceroom then clear the cache, never used to have this issue.
Just a couple minutes ago, in the middle of a race.. the game crashed, so i tried to reopen it again and vio la a 503 again!! Then i tried the methods above (in quotes) .. no luck! Disabled firewall completly .. no luck! Even changed downlaod location in Steam .. no luck! That´s it ... back to rfactor2 and pCars. Fook this ..
