Sure, but as others have said, more players = more revenue and that's the bottom line here. Raceroom could chose not to reinvest in R3E but I think the more likely scenario would be investment in more staff and licences so the game can develop at a quicker rate i.e. more frequent updates and shorter dev time for new content. Better for all concerned.

I see all the arguments for both sides have been already said, so I just will state wich side I am.

I don't like them, find them childish and silly and actually I don´t understand quite well what's the use for them.
I'm glad R3E doesn't have them cause everytime I'm inmersed in completing a stage in DiRT Rally for example, that pop up of an achievment reminds me "it's just a game".

Yeah, yeah, wouldn't kill me but if I'm asked, I'd say no, thank you.

I don't personally care for achievements, but I have no problem whatsoever if they were in the game. It's not like they would be hurting anybody. Anybody who doesn't care would continue to ignore them. If it brings more paying customers, more people who would keep this game running and live, then I have nothing against it.
