    ADAC2015 BMW Z4.
    Rear wing:
    • default value: maximum speed 272 kmh
    • -2: maximum speed 272 kmh
    • +2: maximum speed 272 kmh
    How does it works??

Is the car hitting the limiter? At a given rpm in a given gear the max speed will be the same.....lower aero drag should mean it gets to that max speed quicker though.

No, no limit hit. Even downhill at longest part of Nordschleife

With most GT3s, the rear wing contributes to 10-20% of total drag. Changing the wing angle by 1 degree will affect drag by only around 1%. So,the top speed benefit of small adjustments is minimal. The aero balance change is much greater, so the wing adjustment is used to trim that rather than to gain top speed.

If you want to find more top speed, the rake angle (difference between front and rear ride height) is a much more powerful tool. The flatter you run the car at speed, the greater the top speed will be, however downforce will be reduced.
