As we now have the fantastic AI selector, we have control over which AI will be racing alongside us.

Do we currently have, or would there be any interest in having a list of livery groupings, that is a list which shows which liveries belong to which particular series. Obviously it's not required for WTCC, DTM etc but for classes like GTR3 it would be a really handy reference to create accurate grids.

Sorry for multiple posts but I have now finished the categories for the GTR3 class. I don't know if anyone will find it useful but it helps me anyway. If anyone can help with the Chrevolet Camaros? And there are a few other holes that I had trouble filling.

I don't know if it's worth doing for the GTR 1 and 2 classes? Or if anyone can link in any of the other classes that would fit now we have multi class?

Will do! Can I delete the second post somehow? And I don't know if the rather boring post title makes it unclear what this is?

    #6 McLaren 650 is PWC
    #8 McLaren MP4-12C is PWC
    #77 Porsche is PWC
#10 and #29 Camaro are PWC kind of..GTS liveries on GT3 cars

Numbering, no, not Nurburgring, numbering, it is an issue, post 3 is all gt3 cars yes? Well how many times is number x repeated look through the grouping, it should simply be if car a is number 2 then i must be 3, if 3 is taken then i am the next available number, the number position dosnt change the value does\should. I understand full well the reasoning behind it but when that reasoning makes the grid look kind of silly maybe a little applied logic should be invited.

Edit, taking the 3rd post and removing class you end up with

lots of cars, lots of skins but how carefull do you have to be to avoid a repeated number, how many 8 9 11 12 13 15 23 79 88 90 or whatever car you choose, the logic should be there to automatically arrange number by order not simply skin rules!

Thank you, updated. Can anyone give info on the P4-5 Competiziones?

It would have made the job of looking them up to get the right series a lot more difficult! I guess it depends what your're looking for... for me I did this because I'd prefer to set up a grid of Blancpain Sprint for example, so having the same numbers that aren't in that series isn't so important. If that makes sense?

As far as i know there are no fictional GT3 liveries, maybe corrected on that, but to have multiple make and model of car with the same number in the same class race is completely fictional, it dosnt happen, that is

:0 who mentioned completely changing a livery, my post was about changing the number, i thought that was clear enough.

The numbers don't really worry me as you hardly see them when racing, I just like having liveries that would have appeared together in real life in my races. Unless we get more officially licenced series like the GT masters then random liveries are here to stay.

Liveries are relevant and are required to be correct reproductions, the same as numbers are required to be correct and realistic.
And no race existed like that either, realistic numbering is just as important as the car running it, taking your #23 analogy, #23 Porsche 911 #23 Nissan GTR #23 P4-5 Competizione, take your pick how silly does 3 number 23`s in a race look?
And finishing in 1st place is j bloggs in car #9
Finishing in 2nd place is f bloggs in car #9
Finishing in 3rd place is g bloggs in car #9
and finally getting his first top ten of the season is car #9 driven by a bloggs :tearsofjoy:

If we're allowed to kinda go outside the lines so to speak. the Ford Mustang, Corvette and Chevrolet Camaro could be used in the American TransAm TA1 series. The only car missing would be the Dodge Challenger. If I'm not mistaken.
