Ill either boot into main menu, then multiplayer throws a connection error, or the store , or on a reboot of the game a failure to even load the game.
I also cant get any further than the main menu and also read a couple comments on youtube about people having (unspecified) issues at the moment
I cant even use any paid for content in single player practice the race button disappears. Only the free content is selectable and even then it wont always allow to proceed to a free practice session
I got disconnected in multiplayer about 1:10pm EST Monday the 18th. Kept getting the same errors as you guys. I live in the northeast part of South Carolina (US) with a At&t uverse connection. Can't get back at this time. Nash

or at least just one online authentication check that saves an verified content check as an encrypted file on your HDD once the main menu is loaded so we can get in the game checks for paid content, then were good to go and the encrypted file is all the game needs to verify content.or something that doesn't need constant login/store verification every time you change car/tack Right now even single player is unavailable as it wants to check content when you select a single player mode, then car and track , it then does a scan and then you can press race. I'm getting an error (if i can get into game) about serve issues when in SP>practice, then car/track select. then the race button disappears until i select free content and even then the race button may take a while to return
Some game files are not even on your PC. So this will not really help. To get rid of this always online thingy, a quite big overhaul of the overall game files architecture would be necessary. I don't see this happening anytime soon.
