Need some tips and tricks where to pass tomorrow in the Esports WTCR race? Niels Langeveld and Nicky Catsburg have some suggestions:

Here is my hotlap for the third round :)

Despite being outside the Top 120, I will be able to race this sunday because some qualified drivers will not be able to attend to the race

    Enjoy ;)

    Server 2:

So, that was my very first eSports WTCR race and quite honestly, I am a bit disappointed. Not only by my speed (hats off to the Server 1 aliens), but also because of the behaviour of some drivers. Being on Server 2 (aka top 60 worldwide) I expected more respectful driving, but people tend to divebomb or use you as their brakes. In race 1 everything was okay (P3), in race 2 I was blocked by an Audi driver whom I got past eventually, just to be torpedoed into T1 because I guess he didn't even bother to try and hit his braking point. Lost "only" 4 positions but still very unneccessary. I think P11 in the end. Congrats to Alex and Klaus for the wins!

The Esports Wtcr oscaro has reached a very high Level this year. Thers are many profesional E Sports Teams on the grid.
I think maybe 20 Drivers allways have the pace to get in Server 1, and then maybe 25 Drivers are in a leaderboard battle
to get the last spots. Thats is amazing ... and for a "Privatier" frustrating, but thats the challenge of esports.

    Server 2
The Quality of Server 2 has become a new Level, many Drivers were last year in Server 1, so the pace is high and
many Drivers are on same racepace. Overtaking is difficult, specialy whithout contact.
After a bad qualify P17 and a Crash in front of me i went into the gravel ...last.

Around my positions in both races the fights were hard an clean, thanks to the Drivers.
But in the field are some guys looking for a gap that no one sees.
I am shure that is getttin better and better in upcoming races, cause any fight over the Limit costs both Drivers good lap times.

    Grats to the Podium finishers.

    KEEP RACIN

    Hi!
I think you are referring to me with that R2 T1 crash. I am terribly ashamed about it, I misjudged my braking point by a few meters. I am open to admit it to you and everyone, I made a mistake and I'm very sorry. In fact I made a report to the R3E staff regarding the crash, owning full responsibility, even before I read your post.

@ Richard: I think you were in that area and might have been the "torpedo", so thank you for the open words and the excuse. Never mind my post now that I know it was a mistake and not rude driving :innocent: In fact, I also saw the live stream now and I stand corrected re what I said about the behaviour. In general, it looks really fine and racing is hard, but good like it should be in touring cars :relaxed:

Indeed, with German commentary. See "Esports WTCR OSCARO 2019 | R3 Zandvoort GP | Server 2" on YouTube (I can't post links bc I don't have enough posts)

    R2 Slovakia Ring
Stewards: Michael Bell / Robert Wiesenmueller

    Server 3 Race 2

    R Alves vs. Vega, Lap 10 T3
Vega turns in from the outside, while Alves is on the inside, and spins Alves.
    Caryl Vega - 4 points, 1 strike

    R3 Zandvoort
Stewards: Michael Bell / Robert Wiesenmueller

    Server 1 Race 1

Pointeau vs. Juhasz, Lap 2, Chicane in S3
Juhasz goes for a late dive, clips Pointeau who spins.
Krisztian Juhász, 20 points, 1 strike

Kunze vs. Messaoud, Lap 2, Turn 9
Messaoud brakes too late and hits Kunze, who loses 2 positions.
Redoine Messaoud, 20 points, 1 strike

Csuti vs. Cihan, Lap 3 Turn 10
Cihan goes for a late move on Csuti into turn 9, while Csuti starts turning in when Cihan is diving alongside. They make contact, Cihan bounces onto the kerb, half-rolls and while he is on 2 wheels and tries not to roll, makes contact with Csuti again who gets pushed onto the grass.
The first contact is caused by aggressive driving from both drivers, with Csuti closing the door quite hard, but it’s still Cihan who took a bit more risk and therefore gets a warning. After Cihan bounces onto the kerb, it is out of his control.
    Emre Cihan, warning

    Server 1 Race 2

Garcia vs. Kunze, Lap 11 Turn 8
Aggressive, but fair pass from Kunze.
    No action

Raechl vs. Messaoud, Lap 15 Final Corner
Raechl has an overlap on Messaoud, who cuts him off in the final corner and prevents a likely overtake.
    Warning - Redoine Messaoud
Raechl’s and Messaoud’s finishing positions are swapped

The reports from the servers 2 and 4 will be done together with the SUPER RACER reports, because of missing replay files. Server 3 no reports.

    Strikes list:
Slaven Stulic - 3 (Grid penalty solved)
    Krisztian Juhasz - 2
    Jack Keithley - 2
    Nestor Garcia - 2

The Nürburgring Nordschleife marks the halfway point in the Esports WTCR OSCARO 2019, the virtual racing championship on RaceRoom, which is still wide open with six winners from six different races.

Reigning champion Bence Bánki still heads the championship table ahead of the 3 CUPRAS of Florian Hasse, Kuba Brzezinski and Nikodem Wisniewski, but the „Green Hell“, the most challenging and spectacular circuit on the calendar, has turned championships onto its head before. 25,378 km of high-speed straights and fast and flowing corners through the virtual German forests await the simracers.

Once again, Gergo Baldi topped the time sheets in pre-qualifying in his M1RA Esports Hyundai. The experienced Hungarian had his breakthrough podium last time in Zandvoort, but still sits only in 9th in the standings, which would not be enough to qualify for the LAN final in Malaysia at the end of the year, where the top 8 drivers get invited. Behind him, Jack Keithley was 2nd in his Williams Esports Audi, who won the opening race at the Hungaroring, has been a little bit behind his own expectations ever since, but is regarded as one of the fastest simracers overall on the Nordschleife. Wisniewski, Löhner and Brzezinski rounded out the top 5 for Williams Esports, while Bánki was 7th and Hasse 10th.

Niels Langeveld scored his best pre-qualifying result to date with P38 and will compete in the 2nd server, trying to clinch his first victory of the season. Yann Ehrlacher also received an invite for server 4. Though he cannot attend this round, he still showed his potential, especially for the upcoming Asian rounds, where he was successful in real cars in the past.

Once again, the races will be streamed live this Sunday, with Niels Langeveld’s race starting at 15:45 GMT / 17:45 CEST and the top server at 17:30 GMT / 19:30 CEST:

@Michael Rächl I'm verry sorry vor the punt on lap 1 race 2, I was out of control already and I hit you.
Otherwise, both of my races were ok, but both races could've been much better without small mistakes from my part. And without a big top speed deficit :D
But I'm still happy, I did twice P17 for my first time in server 1

    Server 2 Race 2

Dobsa vs. Diner (vs. Barrier), Lap 1 Turn 10
Diner tries to go for a move on Dobsa into turn 10, but in the end it is Barrier, who is behind Diner, who brakes too late and pushes Diner into Dobsa. Dobsa immediately re-gains the position, but Barrier needs to be more careful.
    Warning - Valentin Barrier

Dobsa vs. Diner, Lap 5 Turn 8
Diner brakes far too late and hits Dobsa off the track. Dobsa loses 5 positions. Dobsa gave room on the inside, so this move was never going to work.
    Attila Diner - 16 points - 2 strikes

Dobsa vs. himself, Lap 10 Turn 1
Dobsa brakes far too late and hits Bräutigam off the road. This was also never going to work.
    Richard Dobsa - 16 points - 2 strikes

    Server 4 Race 2

Melo vs. Boldur, Lap 3 Turn 10
Boldur goes off track, rejoins in an extremely unsafe manner and crashes into Melo, who rolls as a result. Double penalty.

    Strikes list:
Slaven Stulic - 3 (Grid penalty solved)
