As the title says which is the best car in the series as i am not feeling it with the Honda or the Golf, so wondering which is a favourite with you all?
Mainly it depends on your preference. The general consensus is that the Honda is probably the best of the bunch (as in the fastest) but I can't drive it either. Personally, I favor the Alfa Romeo. While it does retain some of the FWD tendencies, it's a bit more muted. Much easier to get it to roll through corners without the off-throttle oversteer.
They're close to the point that it pretty much comes down to personal preference, I like the Audi the most and it's the easiest for me to drive, so I drive that.
They're all great but in different ways, my go to is the Audi, well balanced and capable on most tracks. Definitely track specific though, horses for courses. The Honda defo seems to be the swiftest but on some tracks it's awful. Have a soft spot for the Cupra, very quick on certain tracks but sound can get grating. My recommendation is buy 'em all and drive 'em all, variety is the spice of life!
Agree with Goose, the Audi suits my style of driving and seems to suit most tracks, the Honda is slightly quicker but the stupid interior mirror which seems to be on the passenger side is so annoying it needs moving..(HINT). The Cupra's dump sound is just horrible to drive with, but I have a luv for the Golf..And the Alfa is cute..
Best answer so far ! Buy 'em all, drive 'em all and race 'em all ! But the Audi is my most used TCR, because i own an Audi myself.
As everyone says, everything is balanced. "Your favorite car"is Your best of WTCR. My best of WTCR is HONDA CIVIC
Not sure why, but I can thrash the 2014-17 WTCC cars everywhere and anywhere with no issues, but these 2018 cars I just can’t seem to tame.
Be easy when lifting your foot of the throttle going into corners. A little bit of throttle can help stabilizing the cars on corner entry.
As the Best TCR car is not in this Sim OPEL / Vauxhall Astra TCR. I think the Honda is the best for my driviing style but they are all very close.
This is my base line setup, Just tweaking it for each track. This setup works great for me at Mid Ohio and Monza, whilst changing the down force
