I think I will change to realistic mood as well. Default has a bluish tone to everything. White is not neutral here. Realistic seems to be a bit too contrasty.
Naaa, the blue is just fake n false and too overdone, like its trying too hard to make a point but misses the point completely and fails miserably in the process, realistic is that, realistic, open honest and to the point, no messing with presumption nor assumption. LOL
I like this sky in project cars, ok it is newer. The quality of the HDR's is much better. The skies in raceroom look a bit too flat. Nevertheless I prefer raceroom over pCars. Can't stand pCars any longer because of reasons lol. I'm looking forward to upcoming version of raceroom ^^
I found this old thread here about the bluish tint in RaceRoom. kNowwe have July 2018 and it's this appears bluish, nothing has changed so far from sector3 why not implementing a white balance to the camera? You sound know the Kelvin temperature of the sun in game, don't you? This is how it works for instance with offline render engines like Vray I don't like the super warm sunlight in iracing afternoon either. Basically, whenever you take a picture with your smartphone or camera white balance will be applied automatically, if you didn't set it to manual mode. One day sector3 will remove this bluish tint hopefully
there was a change a while back... https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/raceroom-patchnotes-thread.261/page-4#post-130141
@fl0wf1r3 try a "hot" track like Paul Ricard and see how you like the lighting. Difference is most noticeable there.
