Released BMW M235i Racing - now available

When It is available

 

If it passes testing without problems (which I assume it will) it will probably be included in the next patch.

 

Last weekend i've been at the Nordschleife for the VLN. The BMW 235i is in reality much louder than in RaceRoom and has a pretty decent amount of low frequencies. I'm not talking about the cockpit sound but from a spectators point of view I was really astonished that for instance the Audi R8 LMS ultra was much more quite than the BMW. The loudest car was a Renault Clio

 

Yes but the real gt3 sound is much louder than the vln gt3 sound.

 

That's interesting indeed. I found in article about noise prevention on the Nürburgring and the Nordschleife. The maximum noise level on the Nordschleife is 130 dB(A). It's probably also valid for the Nürburgring GP track, in two weeks they host the Blancpain GT series.

thats true, the two KTM were quite loud, nice sound. The BMW had quite a deep bass when passing by. Of course not as deep as the Mercedes AMG GT3.

 

I'm ok with it And if you could implement such exhaust flames, I buy the car immediately

 

Would like to see this car in R3E, but it's not even a BMW. It's the Australian MARC Cars, a tubular chassis with a Ford V8.
Original it was the MARC Cars Mazda3 GTC, but the Belgian team Qvick Motors replaced the Mazda body by a BMW M2 body.

 

So does it mean S3 is working on this car license? She's really mighty tuned like this, and this V8 aspirated sound, my god Raging and loud with no "fan" noise

 

More I drive this car more I think it's my favorite one, not the most powerful but a great balance of several ingredients which make that the pleasure is here in every race

I really like this car too. Especially how you can fly through the corners.... or was it , out of the corners?

 

I did the same yesterday but I didn't embrace the track with my roof top, I keep my wheels on track

 

Any news about that? No fix after todays update.

The new cockpit sounds are great!

 

It's being worked on. Of course the sounds have to be adapted to match the new range etc. so it took a little longer. But it's being fixed now and *should* be in the next update.

 

New sounds are more loud, as expected

As this car is for sure not the fastest in the game, it's definitely one of the best looking and most fun to drive/race, new sounds make it even more adorable.
