Released Callaway Corvette C7 GT3-R

There is a theory that ADAC GT Masters 2016 might be skipped, because BMW M6 has 2 liveries from that season available in GTR3. Plus at this point the pack looks like it might be released not earlier than in late summer.

Although I asked J-F about it some time ago and he said, that it was considered but they have deals that must be followed.

And one more thing came to my mind right now - since Porsche's deal with EA has ended, RaceRoom might want to get 911 for that pack, which would further delay it. But this is pure speculation.

 

I think this strongly depends on licenccing agreements.

 

So many manufacturers are missing from R3E that perhaps it's not worth continuing with the ADAC licence.

 

hm, if I remember right, there are "only" two Manufacturers missing from last season with Lambo and Porsche, after the other announced three are released. These were missing in the previous seasons, too. But especially in case of Lambo - in the previous seasons the ammount of them wasn't that big.

Basically 9 out of the 28 cars would be missing.

 

A third of the field. I prefer a larger grid with GT3 cars and the GTR3 class more than caters for that.

Will we see Lamborghini or other Italian GT3 cars?

 

I think it will be interesting to see what series GTR3 licenses - given their history perhaps WEC - which would mean Ferrari, Porsche and AM licenses would be required. If they license a GT3 series instead or as well, not having Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini would be a fail.

It would make sense to work out license for R3E at the same time as GTR3, to share development as much as possible and get as much mileage out of the license as possible. Maybe there is still a glimmer of the Italian dream for R3E.

 

It would be nice to run the Lamborghini Huracan in RaceRoom. I the only reason I find myself trying out Assetto Corsa every once and a while is to run the Huracan. If RaceRoom had this car I could free up some SSD space.

Very quiet at the moment. Perhaps the upcoming Brexit f... up the plans of Sim Bin a bit. The European job market won't be so open any longer in the UK. Just something that came into my mind. Don't know how much this affects Sector3 at the moment.

sure, but within in the EU it is simple, no visa, just move there is even an exchange for the pension insurance or how you call it. Except Switzerland that is not in the EU.

 

I'm a true race fan of the "Blancpain GT Series", which only drives GT3 cars. That's why I prefer to ride in Raceroom with the GTR3 class cars.

Of course there are already 15 different cars available, but I still miss something. Certainly the new race cars in the GT3 class. What's nice in Raceroom class GTR3, are the Audi R8 LMS, the Aston Martin Vantage V12, the Ferrari 488 GT3, the Lamborghini Huracan GT3, and the Mercedes AMG GT3.

Meanwhile we can already enjoy the new BMW M6 and the McLaren 650S GT3. But if it were possible to get the other cars in the GTR3 class it would be great to complete the GTR3 class.
