Hello guys, i have the problem that i can't the change the wheel range in car setup. What i have tried: - R3E deinstalled, deleted SimBin folder with all cfg's, installed again - newest Logitech driver, Logitech Profile 5.10.127 Who can help me?
When you say "newest Logitech driver", does it mean this one from March 2016? http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g27-racing-wheel/downloads Don't read too much into the version numbers, Logitech have made a mess of those and I believe there are now several different drivers with the same version number available. Also, if these are the ones you're using, did you try to uninstall your current drivers and reinstall these regardless, at least if you're on Windows 10? Windows 10 loves to overwrite the correct drivers with "newer" ones that don't work correctly with these older wheels. This happens with various Windows updates without the user even noticing, and there has been several such updates lately...
What else have you been doing so far? What about the settings in "erweiterte Einstellungen" and/or the settings of the virtual degrees of rotation? And as Case said: You need the latest drivers from March 2016. The version number is old or still the same as from older drivers but it's important to take a look at the date (March 2016).
Sometimes, the same thing happens for us on the event software, where the game fails to get the wheels range. What fixes it for us: Parallel to the g27 driver software, install the drivers for the g29 wheel, you can find it here: http://support.logitech.com/de_de/product/g29-driving-force/downloads It just needs to be installed, you do not need to start it or configure anything.
Sorry for the late answer. I have Windows 7. I've deleted the logitech profiler and driver completely. Now it works after reinstalling it. It's not enough to uninstall the profiler. You should uninstall the driver in the device manager. Now it's a completely different realistic feeling with a adjustable wheel range in the game.
