Hi I'm a bit stuck. I've asked a member and he hasn't got the answer, so he suggested I address it here. When I set my wheel to rotate 140 degrees (I've had a massive stroke in 2011 and am limited with movement on my right arm) it turns right fine but not left. Sometimes I manage to adjust it to 160 degrees or 180 degrees, but it only works sometimes. See file how I adjust the settings. Either I do or don't stop the game. It doesn't make any difference. I've got a Ferrari T150 Force Feedback wheel and pedals and I'm running it on my laptop which is a Toshiba Satellite. My laptop is about five years old. Please help. Thanks, Ian
hi have you set it in the game aswell , ? you can set it per car etc and also in the custom settings Andi
eeeek ok , in my not so functional way i will try so go to gameplay settings , start screen gear wheel in top right of screen , click gearwheel gameplay settings is the second on the list, click it 3rd on the list on the right is wheel rotation , mine is greyed out at 540 , because my wheel is set to it check what yours is next load up a car and track which you wish to play go to car setup steering settings set it to your desired range then set the lock to the minimum hope that helps Andi
Thanks Andi. I did set it to 140 degrees on gameplay settings. Next, I did two things on steering settings: 1) Set it to 140 degrees and minimal lock, but it gives the same result; 2) Set it to 145 degrees and lock of 10, and it's working. Appreciate it.
Hi Andi It's working but 1) the game stalls and goes off completely and I have to restart the game; 2) I don't feel any force feedback. A bit strange. Do you have a solution? Thanks, Ian
Hi Andi Now it's also not steering. I switched it my laptop off but it's still not steering. This has happened before.
Hi I'm having several issues which I need help on. Even if you can help on one of them, please do so. The faults occur erratically. I've got a Ferrari T150 Force Feedback wheel and pedals and I'm running it on my laptop which is a Toshiba Satellite. My laptop is about five years old. I've had the game for about three years now and it worked before. I'm not using VR. Please don't suggest I download the game again as it takes about three weeks. Serious. I live in a country town called Hermanus in South Africa. 1) STEERING NOT WORKING When I set my wheel to rotate 140 degrees (I've had a massive stroke in 2011 and am limited with movement on my right arm) it turns right fine but not left. Sometimes I manage to adjust it to 160 degrees or 180 degrees, but it only works sometimes. See file how I adjust the settings. Either I do or don't stop the game. It doesn't make any difference. I followed the plan as Andi suggested as follows: I went to gameplay settings , start screen gear wheel in top right of screen , click gearwheel gameplay settings is the second on the list, click it 3rd on the list on the right is wheel rotation check what yours is Next load up a car and track which you wish to play go to car setup steering settings set it to your desired range then set the lock to the minimum I did set it to 140 degrees on gameplay settings. Next, I did two things on steering settings: a) Set it to 140 degrees and minimal lock, but it gives the same result; b) Set it to 145 degrees and lock of 10, and it's working. I'm still not happy with it as it is. 2) NO THROTTLE RESPONSE This one is particularly frustrating. The game loads up, and I get this. 3) GAME GOES OFF ON IT'S OWN ACCORD The game stalls and goes off completely and I have to restart the game. 4) FORCE FEEDBACK I don't feel any force feedback. A bit strange. I fiddled with the Advanced Settings and Force Feedback Settings, but without success. Does anyone have a solution for one or some of these issues? Thanks. Going crazy Ian
Mmmm... that was last night... Miraculously, this morning I started the game and I did some things and, touch wood, RaceRoom is working perfectly. Thanks.
