Car Status HUD meaning?

I don't it's explain anywhere in the game.

I'm talking about this:



Well - tire wear, that I got , but the rest is a mystery.

The exclamation point especially I'm really wondering, since it always seems to light up after a lap or two, even if I did not damage the car what-so-ever ?

 

The exclamation point is the gearbox.

 

I think the upper two are aero damage and engine (99% sure) damage...

But then, how is the gearbox damaged every time after just a few laps?

 

I haven't tried the game with the new build yet but if you don't shift with extreme caution you'll damage the gearbox in 3 laps (mainly reason I turned off the mech damage in my sp laps)

 

After some testing, I think I got the issue:
The game doesn't handle driving aids properly it turns out.

I'm using manual clutch - but I'm only using the clutch pedal for cars that need it (ie, old - H-shifter cars), and in that case, I don't damage the gear-box in-game.
And I don't "clutch" for cars that have "build-in" semi-automatic gearbox (ie, GT2 or GT3 cars that have auto-clutch/throttle-cut and auto-blip IRL from the factory) - but the game does not handle it, meaning a dead gearbox after a few laps.

 

Unfortunately the gearbox is currently very fragile. This is something we will have to tweak in the future.

 

Thanks for the information. At this time it's better to desactivate the mecanic damage.

 

or just turn on auto clutch

I had the issue with WTCC when using my seq. with Auto Clutch off, had to turn Auto Clutch on to prevent damage.

 

Maybe we can all chip-in and upgrade the clutches for all cars?

 

Can you guys make the fonts of tire % more bigger? I can,t read it.
