I would like to see one more classic touring car category. For Group 5, Group A and DTM 92 I am a bit too young, but my "nostalgia" category are the Super Touring Cars. There were FWD, RWD and 4WD cars competing against each other, and from all these different concepts there were race winning cars. I think it would be very interesting to bring that to simracing too, a class where each driver can pick his preferred drivetrain concept and battle it out with everyone. Yes, everyone would cry about the Balance of performance and I would be the first one to do so, but it's just like it was in the 90s. Most importantly, the racing has always been super hard. When I remember the old Race07 days, what was everyone driving on public server? Touring cars. Cause the cars are easy to figure out, the racing is close and you trade a bit of paint. I think Super Tourers would deliver that. For me it wouldn't matter if the cars are from 1994, when the aero parts were just introduced, or from 2001 when everything was maxed out. It wouldn't matter if it's BTCC, STW, the European league or just some random cars. All cars were awesome. Just look at them. And there are several manufacturers where you have the license for other cars at least like Audi, BMW, Opel, Ford, Nissan, Honda, Volvo. I have probably around 3000 pictures plus books with the technical specifications of the cars and I know where to find the good Youtube videos so, Sector 3, I just send you all of it and then you make these cars ok?
To represent all the TC series, Dodge Stratus, Alfa Romeo, Nigel's ford mondeo has to be in the pack. And would be nice to have both versions of the Volvo (I can't get myself to drive a wagon)
Is it me??? or does the Acura NSX have a DTM rear wing and the Mustang DTM, a GT3 style rear wing? just sayin. I think the Acura monocoque is based on the DTM monocoque for the worldwide DTM style series.
Well - the Ford Mustang is just a Fan-Concept-Car. But the wing really is not a "DTM"-Wing as the wings are standard-parts on all cars. The pic of the acura NSX is in fact a DTM-Car. Well ok, it is the GT500-Version which is pretty similar to the DTM-Rules - at least on bodywork side. This is the Acura NSX GT3

I saw/heard the Emil Frey Jaguar at the Blancpain GT Endurance event at Silverstone earlier this year, the sound it made was glorious, even better than the Bentley and the Mercedes GT3 cars, which also have fantastic sounds (guess you can't beat a big non-turbo V lump for sound). There's a video of the Emil Frey Jaguar here, though it doesn't do justice to the actual sound it makes on the track:
