Yes Princess there is several years of some of the classes.

At the same time there is classes not represented at all (as Group C) and some classes with very few cars.

I had lengthy discussions about Group C at the pCars forum many many moons ago. Standard answer - not gonna happen, als licencing of most cars is not possible. A Porsche licence for the 956/962 would be the backbone, but Group C is more than just Porsche, Sauber and maybe Jaguar (which we don't have a licence for in R3E either as it seems). And even if the miracle was going to happen (I'd celebrate that with some seriously expensive drink), what is Group C without Le Mans?

Depressing! I don't understand this with licenses and car manufacturers. What would a car manufacturer (like Porsche) lose on licensing its cars to S3? Whoever knows, tell me!

Le mans? It's comming... but not soon.

I must have missed that announcement.
Regarding the licence - the manufacturer has nothing to loose, it is more a matter of the pricetag on such a licence. But another reason given on the pCars forum was that some teams/manufacturers simply don't exist anymore or it is unclear who holds the rights. Though I regard that largely as an excuse.

I'd also love to see the beautiful Lola T70s and it's contemporary playmates. But I fear the potential customer base is just too small for this to ever happen :(

Much better than those track day things :) A nice Clio Cup as an entry level touring car class would have my vRP right away :)

I would not call the Caterham a track day thing.

I think the Cats are offering a very pure base for racing and they are lots of fun.
    One for fun :D

One for racing (at Knockhill which is my favorite race track since my days in TOCA1)

Like the Clio's they are present in all my other sims (original or mods) and I really like racing them.

    Porsche RS Spyder Evo,

This car was famous for butting heads with the LMP1 Audi R10 in the american Le Mans series. The closest thing to driving in in r3e at the moment is the DHL scheme on the Mistal M53 (there may be others as well, idk).

Yep, also in rF2, pCars and AC.
Just found out: Knockhill is confirmed in pCars2 (not only the RX circuit but the race track too !) :)

Build a car, release it to the public and all relevant license holders will come crawling from under their rocks, palms out stretched!

IP is a dangerous game. No one can put value to IP but the owner. It's too risky to invest in development without knowing what the IP costs may be.

I think it's good that there are only original cars at RaceRoom.
