Currently, the cockpit sounds are either using their natural ambience from the original recording or sometimes I apply a "cabin" effect to increase the cockpit immersion. I might think of a way for users to adjust the cabin effect from a menu slider, let's see what we can do in the future. But talking about brightness, adding more reverb would actually darken the sound or at least soften the high frequencies, which of course can be equalized afterwards.
