I'm in New York what time do the races start??? If that's been posted sorry i must have missed it.
I would be very interested in signing up for Gt3 class with the Ruf Rt12R Gt3 --> #03 livery

@tauan sorry for the late reply, I can confirm that you got the last spot in the GT3 Class, unfortunately I can't update the OP but I'll make sure @OverTheLine does when he gets back from his holiday.

@GrimeyDog I'm sorry mate, as I mentioned to @tauan , he took the last available spot in the championship, we have had one person pull out already though so it may happen again, if it does I can send you a message to let you know if you like and you will have first refusal?

What time does it start and how are we going to communicate? How do I get the server password?
I'm in Brazil what time does it start?

Time zone: BST also known as GMT+1
Practice = 1845 Hours (45m)
Qualy = 1930 Hours (30m)
Race = 2000 Hours (90m)

Communications are usually dealt with either vbefore or after the race on this forum or in the CFEG Steam group here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/chequeredflagendurance

We do also use a mumble server (but it is not mandatory), you can find those details here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/chequeredflagendurance/discussions/4/541907867791427437/

The password is usually provided on the steam group, which we do ask anyone joining our events to sign up and subscribe to.

Sunday 25th of June.
Practice starts at 6:45pm and lasts for 45m.
Qualifying starts at 7:30pm and lasts for 30m.
Race starts at 8pm and lasts for 90m.

I can't be any clearer then that I'm afraid. I will however see if I can but a nice little calendar image together.

 

thanks guy i need to use mumble to comunicate right? do you know if the race will be streaming on youtube?

 

It's not mandatory to use Mumble but the option is there if you want it.
The race will be broadcast, we have been looking for a commentator but no luck just yet. There will also be various on-board streams from individuals.

 

Is this a good idea with so many drivers on the grid?
I've been told that this could be a reason that the change of LAG is much higher.

 

It's down to the individual really, we can't stop individuals from streaming.
As long as their machines and connections are up to it, it shouldn't effects anyone else, for example, I'll be streaming my on-board but, my streaming settings use the NVEC setting (GPU), not x264 (CPU) and I have an internet connection of 20Mb/s up, 300Mb/s down. More than enough to stream without seeing or causing any lag.
If someone is trying to stream on a slow internet connection, I'd strongly advise against it.

We can only ask that participants use their heads, if your sure you have a system that can handle a 43 car grid and streaming, by all means, feel free to stream, if your not sure, it's maybe best not to try at the 1st race of the season lol.

We have a bit of a problem.
Both the LMP2 and GT3 grids were filled on the initial sign up with you in a GT3 and Aleksander in an LMP2.

Let me see what I can do, hopefully it'll just be a case of taking one slot from GT3 and adding it to LMP2.

OK, spoken to relevant people, we'll add you to the LMP2 grid and remove a space from GT3. Good luck dude.

Question to organisers:
Would it be possible for future practice servers to have it on qualifying session because of the lower griplevel in practice?

 

Race sessions have lower grip levels than qualifying so we run on practice as it's closer to race levels of grip.
