I understand this would keep the chit chat out of the drivers view, but it also is not obvious this is happening and people go to the garage to chat with drivers. Drivers always have the option to turn chat off if they like. I think this is a bad decision and does nothing but create confusion. Chat should be available to all, in all chat windows. Drivers not wanting to see it can turn off chat. Now to chat with a driver you have to go on track and sit idle which is not the way this should work, IMHO. Edit: I think the best solution would be the ability to not only be able to toggle chat, but to also be able to toggle lobby chat. Best of both worlds. Maybe in a future release if enough of "the right people" find the current solution less than ideal. Always sent in the spirit of making this sim better.
I agree about that. Whatever the solution is, at the very least it has to be obvious for players how it works and who sees what.
