I'd like to leave geopolitics somewhere in the trunk. But for the last word, I would say that Ukraine and Russia could be possible friends in future if only they remove their gnome from the throne. Ukraine never be Russian, it will be American, same as Germany and other EU countries. We are on the same needle.
Absolutely, they have been for so long. You're right, shouldn't discuss stuff like this here, but I will never understand why we (Europe, Germany, NATO) made Ukraine chose one (our) side. Totally unnecessary move that was bound to cause trouble. Again, stay strong.
