I get error 2104...maybe they pushed the Audi sale onto the server or anything else. Good time for a break ;-)

 

Sorry guys we're having some hardware issues on one of the servers running our backend.

Unfortunately we have to go down for maintenance.

 

Just a small update.

The issue is a hardware issue and we need to swap some hardware and restore the data. This will take some time unfortunately.

We will be up as soon as it's done. Apologies for the inconvenience.

 

Please allow the game for offline launch.

 

The servers are up and running again.

It was a rather nasty disk failure in one of our servers. While we have various backup systems for such surprises, this one in particular happened in a segment that also caused the backup system to not update for several hours.

This forced us to spend quite a few hours rescuing the data from this faulty disk and then restore it into a new one.

Unfortunately it ruined your Friday racing time and we are very sorry for this downtime.

 

Thanks for working as hard as you guys did to get things working again.

I know you guys are based in Europe, and this problem took place all through the middle of the night... hopefully now you all can get some sleep and be well rested for some racing on Saturday night

Tried now three times to start the game and get every time a screen with a DLC message followed by a window where I should login to raceroom or register.

Hi Rella,

That is the correct behavior. You get your warning regarding the DLC binding to your R3E account and then you are asked to enter your login credentials. Usually you auto login but after this problem you might have to re-login for system to remember you.

 

It works with typing in my credentials manually.
Sorry for my post. I had this screen a few times earlier but could access the game after another try by starting it from steam and thought there is a verification through my steam account.

You should be able to find it in the following location: \Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\Log

Hi, I wanted to catch up on this as I still have this DLC message every time i want to play R3E. After returning to desktop and restarting the game it works. I also typed in my credentials but the next time the game doesn't remember me. At the moment the 503 DLC message is alternating with the 2228 error . But a contact of mine is getting the same DLC message for the last weeks.
