I thought yesterday lets try the new AI and do and few single races but it ended to be a very frustrated evening. Race #1: DTM1992 Merc at Zolder with mandatory pitstop. Practice and Qualify went fine, 60% through the race I went in for the pitstop. Unfortunately the AI pit control smashed the car in the pit barrier, I was unable to reverse or anything, had to DNF. Race #2: ADAC14 BMW at Zolder with mandatory pitstop. Practice and Qualify went fine, was on second position in race and at 75% when my phone rang. Pressed ESC to pause the game. After unpausing I was in the pit, seriously wtf. I would expect that these simple things would be fixed by now. The return to put happens in practice/qualy sometimes also, but in a race....
2 is a known issue and has been for a while. If you pause by pressing the instant replay button instead of pause, all is well
Hello, Just managed to reproduce this issue, although my ADAC Audi managed to get in anyway. Will add this to our bug tracker. Thanks for letting us know.
I think it had to do with a lot of traffic in front that maybe the AI control tries to evade the car in front but I don't know. Also the pit has a S curve in it which makes it more difficult maybe. Anyway thanks for taking note! Is there a public bugtracker?
