I'd recommend enabling the FFB meter (bind a key for it in controls) and tweaking the FFB strength with the FFB multiplier.

On DTM 2016 cars, the situation with the FFB is reversed - it has become very tough, cars have also become uncontrollable.

RoccoTTS, what do you disagree with? Have you ever driven a car ever apart from a virtual one? Some kind of kindergarten.

I had only enough time to test DTM 92 Mercedes with a stick but what I felt through my cheap T150... That was incredibly insane! Sweet, new physics worth waiting for that long! Then I hit a wall to test the new damage model and oh my.... that's the part of the puzzle I was missing so much!! The hood went up, the lights collapsed and with a smile on my face, struggling to drive the poor Merc serving as a test object I headed to the pistop. How wonderful moment it was! Can't wait to get back to testing! :D

I try to run a race on the vln-layout multiclass with 81 oppontents, but in-game there are only 41...o_O

In short, guys, you can put me dislikes here and hug each other's asses, but so far this is the worst update for me.
Before this update, it was one of the best simulators and one of the best FFB.
    But bye bye!

I disagree with you because the ffb works fine in my case, it's way better than before, more detailed.
I you have a problem with your ffb, try to ask for help in more polite way without insulting the devs and other forum members please.

Right for all those with FFB issues. 1st job is start from the default profile for your wheel. Massive changes under the hood mean old profiles may well be off. Then if a car feels light, increase multiplier for that car. Opposite if a car feels heavy.

Also you MUST have spring and damper enabled on your wheel, underlying ffb uses these even if you have damper set to 0% in game.

I just noticed that Anderstorp Grand Prix and Anderstorp South disappeared from the list of tracks in the leaderboards...

The curse of the 0 spring and damper strikes again...

I so wish people would finally get over that misguided advice based on very outdated facts...

Thank you for your advice, friend, you are very kind.
The fact that you did not notice anything strange after the update says about who you really are.
