Dirty air effect?

    I just noted a post on dirty tyres, but I wonder if this game also simulates dirty air if you are driving behind a high downforce car in medium/high speed corners, e.g. with formula cars.

    It does.. It does it very well too imho
    (Fx17 and FRUS execute the dirty air masterfully)

    In addition to the influence on downforce and drag, this also has an effect on cooling. It is possible that your engine could overheat due to the lack of sufficient cooling air if you follow an opponent very closely.

    Ah, nice. Wasn‘t aware of that. And what is the consequence? Can it break? Reduced power?

    Does it far too well through Au Rouge, got the heeby jeeby's in a GT4 last night, totally buggered my race, pinballed off both left and right walls, suspension collapsed, all through trying to follow a Beemer to close, so bloody hard to try save, very realistic though.
