I can't find a way to disable/toggle the timing bar that appears a few times per lap, showing actual chrono/section times, as well as my name/flag/car etc... (don't know how it is called either).

It bothers me because it shows over my cars instruments, and e.g. at Brands it is present for most of the time.
    Help appreciated... :)

Yep recognize this. Can sometimes be annoying in the heat of a race/hotlap. After your post tried to figure out how to enable/disable this. Did not find a solution so help and/or answer from insiders would be appreciated :)

I believe you can turn it off in the HUD settings.

Yes, but IIRC that turns of ALL overlays, right ?

@Dave Brown65 I think I tried every possibility there (unless I missed the crucial one)... ;)

They are not included in the "overlay" parameter, it only removes sector and lap times and the driver list when finishing a lap.

I need to try that again then. Afaik I had no info on the screen left.
(Possibly I toggled the pos bar off at the same time...)

    It's true ! :)
HUD settings > In Game Overlays OFF does the trick.
I can still toggle position bar and HUD elements, without that disturbing element. Thanks guys....

I don't use this, CC is enough. :)

I have every useful info on two tablets, don't like to see my driving view clogged with bars all over the place.

Thanks for the support! I just disabled this overlay and this is what I wanted. Only the cockpit and me without any extra HUD info. Yeah yeah Belowski in my ear, but that's it.
