Does any player have a problem with distorted sound in some cars, Ferrari 488, Chevrolet Cruze 2017? The sound is very unpleasant I have a Sound Blaster 5 / RX sound card, but I also checked it on the integrated sound card. The issue still exists.
For me the Ferrari I think sounded normal, but also there are some other that for me sound weird, like the KTM-GT4 seems repeat some samples and sounds more generic noise then real noise
Try turni g down the ingame reverb , make sure the ingame settings go with whatever your using speaker /headphone wise Andi
This is short video @Andi Goodwin i play with headphones (in game settings setup correctly) , and reverb set to 0. Distorted sounds are most heard when I play on headphones. @S.R.Lemke You're right, some cars are too loud, that's why the sound is distorted.

Personally I hear nothing wrong with it, headphones or not. Touring cars aren't the most pleasant to hear in general. Upd: Starting at 6:35
I have been playing raceroom since 2009. I've always praised the sound. He was really great. I have shown my video with this audio on another forum, everyone hears that something is wrong. Yesterday I did a reinstallation of the game, but unfortunately the problem persists.
What exactly is wrong? All weird/unpleasant sounds that I hear correlate with RPM (like those noise fluctuations in the first corner). Without seeing your inputs it's hard to say if it's really not normal or you just drove this way.
it is heard most when rpm is at full speed or when I hit the curb. Before, I had no such problems, as I wrote I have been playing rre since 2009. Currently I have SB RX5 (2 years old), in other games I have no problem
Actually, some of our car sounds are distorted, from the source. This is because of the way it was captured and there's not much I can do about that, sadly. Although, I'm trying to replace all these sounds with better ones each time it's possible, but I didn't replace all of them yet
