    Hello again,

is the drivetrain elasticity just used to simulate sounds or does it actualy effect torque development at the wheels?

    Cheers.

The New Transmission Model is a physics feature, that also has an effect on the sounds.
It simulates the drivetrain elasticity, which you will feel during throttle input and gear changes :)

Great, can't wait to experiance the impact this has on car behavior.
Especially within downshifting under braking situations.

Hmm, sounds interesting, but as my knowledge around this topic is quite limited, can anybody explain for "dummies" what this exactly means? Thanks
