I'm not suggesting they should - I don't know whether the real-life 2020 cars are similar in performance to our 2013-16 garage; hence the question.
The rules are very different so no. DTM 2013-2016 match the performance of these years (But are 2016 physics) which were pretty much the same over the years. Major changes came 2018 with the first iteration of some aero reduction and 2019 when they switched to Class 1. Greetings
Question for the devs - any chance we could get some plain-coloured liveries like in Olaf's post? (like the vanilla white Porsche RSR). They look really nice minus all the decals.
Was this confirmed somewhere? Because 2013-2016 cars are different, so it's not like they can just copy-paste physics onto them like with for example TCR cars
The 2013-2016 cars already have the same physics as far as I know. The regulations should be the same, it was just ongoing development.
I meant post that stated that DTM 2020 means that 2013-2016 will be updated, but those are not the same cars as 2020.
No Brands Hatch ..And I say that not as a continuation of the joke here, but disappointment that I can't go see them for what's likely to be the last time.
I'm really happy to see the 2020 DTM Cars in Raceroom. I really would be happy for other Years, too. There where so much famous action on track.
What's Assen like to drive? Only time I ever encountered it was in an ancient Microprose bike sim about 20 years ago.
As far as I remember it from a GTR2 mod it has a nice flow as you would expect from a track which is mainly used for MotoGP/bikestuff
Assen is fast and flowy, many corners are slightly banked for some extra speed. But passing is also possible, as shown by DTM in the last year. I like Assen more than Zandvoort. Especially more than 2020 Zandvoort. Greetings
Rene Rast about DTM 2020 Push to Pass: ''Last year we had 30hp, now we get 60hp.'' That's gonna be my push to pass button, I'm gonna get 61hp
