Congrats to the 12 finalists (Hard fight for P 12 at the end) @Moritz Löhner What was going on with Willy ? You also lost some positions...accident ? (Saw the stream above not yours)
congratulation and respect to all racers. was an exciting race!!! in the last 2 rounds i lost my ffb on g27, so i could not hold the gap on T.Brockmeyer, grats to him!!!! GREAT LIVESTREAM. THANK YOU GUYS. KEEP RACIN
Wird nicht passieren, die wollten uns nicht einmal Gruppen tauschen lassen, da Julian Prüfungen schreibt und am Sonntag nicht fahren kann...
Started second and overtook Tim after he received a slowdown in turn one (kinda deja vu from Virtual Championship ) and led some laps. Later I also received a slowdown in turn one and was back in 3rd. During the race I catched back to @Howie and as I reached him he diaconnected. Was sad 'cause I think that could have been a nice fight. Then I made another mistake and went off the track at the OUTSIDE of a corner and received a penalty... What!? Outside the corner you get a penalty?? As I went back on the track to get this penalty done I drove a bit on the curb to not get hit by @Jan Stange but the slowdown didn't expired because I was driving on the curb...wtf is that... (Minute 23:45 in the Video). After this I had a battle with Jan for the podium and I won the battle. Congrats to @Tim Heinemann for his second win in this competition. So third place and I'm really excited for the final at Hockenheim!
First of all, gratulations to all! Was a really funny and entertaining race. Got a good start and jumped to P3. Then after a little racing incident with @Tim Heinemann I recovered pretty fast and got back P5. After @Howie left I was at P4 on a hard chase to @Klaus Schulze, who made no mistake. After @Moritz Löhner got a slow-down I was surprisingly P3. I thougth Moritz, you was a little Fox^^ to cover inside on the curb the line so that minimized my gap to you. Then I got a slide and you got the position back. Great racing. So at the end my tyres went down and I decided to save P4. Big grats to Tim, who was all the way men of the race! Lookin' forward to Hockenheim.
Not because you were driving on the curb but because you were faster than the reference speed used at that point. The way slow downs work is you have to "give back" the time you "stole" by accelerating off track, indiscriminate of whether that was on the in- or outside of a turn. If you actually decelerate during a slow down the timer will start ticking down faster, if you accelerate it will slow down.
Phew ! This time my opponents were too strong, though by the regular T1 accident and a nervous L 1 with various cars getting off-track I was on P9 for a while !! But being a bit more nervous than usual I had some minor errors and the pressure from behind was too much I`ve chosen a little more rear wing than neccessary which helped not outbraking me too easily (and pushing throttle early), but on the straights - with DRS- I was merely cannon fodder ...nevermind - was a lot going on mid-field and I#m happy (and proud) I could make it so far -all in all nice racing again - thx to all - and congrats to the finalists- well earned.
Congrats to all, it was a nice race. Not for me though. I'm too old to concentrate in a screen that much. In a second, I was thinking something else and boom... From there I was going backwards. If I stay focused in the final maybe I'll do something good. See you at the final.
That doesn't count cause I´m surely older than you (first guess) ..but yes, agreed, was wondering to find you a few times around my position...
Lol i'm 48 Grat's for the podium! Start was good get in 4th place But then i've got a lag problem with the car behind the timing was jumping and that takes me out of my concentration Got a slow-down pffff and the car behind catched up Then i've got more problems because my crewchief went crazy Still there, hold your line, clear still there with no car visible or glitching Was hard to stay concentrated!!! But i'm happy that i got in the final
