I hope DTM license will be renewed. Really hope to see the current crop of cars racing together with 3 manufacturers before it becomes a BMW cup. And the classic DTM classes to be expanded, those are awesome cars to drive.
Audi just announced that they will be leaving DTM.
There is no future in an one season deal for S3S, unfortunately. When they organise contracts, they always make sure that it's worth the money. I don't see that in a wonderful series that dies.
Move to Super GT, the better series imo, multiclass and endurance (and a bunch of new circuits ).
As far as watching goes i would love to continue watching both series in all their glory. Regarding wishes for r3e the gt500s have been at the top of my list for a while already so ill fully agree with you on that one
I saw Audi announced their departure from DTM this afternoon. I can't see RaceRoom getting a licensed 2021 DTM championship as I can't see there being a 2021 DTM championship. I don't see BMW continuing and don't see any other Class 1 manufacturers or teams coming to take them on.
When the DTM eSports series was announced with four events from the four seasons in game plus a final round to be announced, a speculative thought went through my head that a 2020 DTM pack might be released in time for the final, however, I really can't see this now.
Honestly, at this stage, I would hope to see a 2020 or 2019 pack with Mercedes in it. It is the last swan song of the series before it is gone.
