Problem Error 500 (internal server error)

The error 5xx means your game can't communicate with their servers, usually stems from an error on their end so there's not much you can do other than wait it out (and report here ofc to make them aware of the issue).
Sucks I know, but they are working on improving the backend to get rid of (as much as possible) these kind of problems.
Wouldn't mind seeing them change it so we can play offline, but it helps me little as I race mostly online these days.

 

Confirm. Today Error 500 is back again. :-(

Yep, wanted to play a short while ago but got the Error 500 message. This game REALLY needs an offline mode.

Theres 2 things i hate about iRacing, the monthly fee+charging for content ( one or the other is acceptable, Not BOTH ) and the fact that they can turn off the plug when they well please even though i payed for all content. Well, raceroom fixed the first one and im ok with paying content ( except the dam liveries...thats pathetic... ) but the second ...godsake... if i want to just practice why in gods world do i need to contact your servers ?, if its about piracy, ffs, its a huge annoyance for the legit paying customers...

 

I can't start the game. I am also seeing this error. Is the game down or is it just me?

I have the same problem. What upsets me the most is that I had no problem until I spent some money on packs.

 

Look on the bright side, it might be another patch and maybe Macau

 

Just spent over $100 USD thinking this was going to be my iRacing replacement. Now it looks like I may have made a mistake. iRacing is overly expensive but I never ever ever ever EVER failed to connect and stay connected from them due to a server problem. The only time they were down was during scheduled maintenance.

I guess you get what you pay for.

yeah it sucks man, but i hope you stick around as when it's on it's great. I'm currently playing some AC since R3E is down and it's like giving a heroin addict some codeine cough syrup....just not cutting the mustard for my sim racing itch.

R3E definitely has way more of these types of issues than other sims i play. They need to tighten up, but the experience is good enough for me to forgive them.

Thanks for the encouragement. I guess I'm a little nervous after deciding on this particular sim and then having this happen right away. Maybe I'll check out AC tonight too.

 

Same issue for me. Error 500 back to Desktop when in game or directly on start.
