yeah i never got locked out like every one else is complaining about. must have happened in the 16.3 hour period i didn't play. or perhaps the game servers just give me priority because im soo great.
I did a complete re-install a while ago and that resolved the problem at that time. This is new since then. Are they still running three servers? I remember a long time ago they had added servers in Seattle Washington in the U.S. And another one in Japan. Is that still the case?
I just got in no problem. FYI. I did delete the cache earlier...no idea if that did anything. I used a VPN as well to start it...then I after in I go back to normal.
I haven't been able to use it in three days but... I just bought 4 new cars. Am I crazy or what? Damn addiction to this sim.
Try right clicking on the game in Steam, then go to properties and verify the integrity of game cache. That just worked for me
seriously I have less than an hour play time this entire week - Friday night and I want to race and 503 again. What a waste of $170+ dollars of content. No game company could possibly have these many issues.
Hi Since Thursday I have logged in once, after trying multiple times. I got in after about 45 minutes of trying. Did a league race and after I excited the lobby I was kick out of the game, I have try sense to reconnect with no success. I have done a registry clean and all deleted the cache file as I have read from Hannes on this forum. With no success. My pc bulid is boss, I am running i5 with a z series extreme mother board, 32 gig oc 2400 memory, liquid cooled, 8g vga card, legend pc. I run windows 10, where I disabled all the apps, and basically only have a anti virus and steam with 2 games on it. R3E being one and AC the other. AC connection is perfect all the time (offline game) R3E on the other hand is not playing the game, I used to connect flourless with super fast connecting into R3E, since Thursday this is not the case. I really don't see they point on having to reinstall the whole game, unless a bug which had to have come from the server creeped in and changed the back round data, but why would this happen? I have no idea. I really can't see everyone's pc being the issue? All that I think has happened is something changed in the background data of the game. So my question, should we delete the entire game S3E and reinstall? Or should we wait for you to resolve the issue? I am not upset. I would just like a straight answer please. Because this morning shows nobody inside the game on steam, that means I am not the only one with this problem. Thank you Ant
Yes for me too (also emptied browser cache)... but doesn't do the trick for others. Fortunately I was off last three weeks but had the 503 promptly first -...have read about the ongoing 503 thing before so I was warned...it's really a shame
Dont reinstall your os. 1- first try rename your mygames/simbin folder. 2- verify the integrity of game cache 3- try playing later or at a time when less people are on. (im a kiwi and i havent had a problem once) 4- wait.
i have verified game cache played 1 hour straight, had no km driven recorded, and got that error again upon attempting to relaunch game, i am now re-verifying the game cache... i'll post here if i find a fix... probably will reinstall the whole game if i get very frustrated..
upon 2nd game cache checking i was able to start the game but the portal is still not showing updated info on my stats. i have not raced yet but launched the client successfully 2wice.... i have win7 32bit home premium edition... dual core/gt610 a very very low end pc, but i noticed that flash player plugin 11 is being reinstalled after the game cache checking.... imho this error is generated by the portal services which have something to do with internal flash player plugin 11 and/or related services...
