On March 16, we lost an icon of racing. Sabine Schmitz, the German racing phenom known as the "Queen of the Nürburgring", succumbed to cancer at age 51. Gone too soon for everyone, this series is a nod to her legacy by racing exclusively at the Nürburgring on the infamous Nordschleife loop of which she was the supreme master.
