The next mini Champ at ESR is coming and this time around it will be a more casual affair as some of us are still hibernating or recovering from the holidays party we decided to try something new this time around with this invitational. We will running 4 events starting Saturday January 13th and ended on February 3rd. A different car each week with 2 different track for each cars. If you're interested and want to be part of the group please send a Steam friend request toMeMots (Martin), Clapper (Jason) 1.1 Eligibility To be eligible to join the Cup new potential competitors will need to participate in an ESR Drop in Race, please contact an Admin on https://discord.gg/Q7HRP4f. 1.2 Competitors Full-time Championship competitors will be limited to maxium number of drivers 32 on a first come first served basis. Wild cards will be allocated after that number. 1.3 Car selection and Series. We are going to race the Invitational cars ( Dtm16/Wtcc17/Fr Jr/M1 pro car ). You will need one of the cars from that pack to participate. If you do not currently own one of them you can either purchase the pack or you can wait until the members that do own that car have chosen their vehicle for the championship before you buy one. 1.4 Team Assignment. Scoring System 3.1 Drivers Scoring TBA 3.2 Drivers Scoring System TBA 3.3 Team Scoring N/A 3.4 No Points scored situations DNS: Did not start (player absent) DSQ: Disqualified (player fails to comply with a requirement) 3.5 Dropped Round The round where a driver scored the least points will be excluded from the final Championship standings for that driver meaning that out of ten rounds only the nine highest scoring rounds will be counted for the final result. 4. Racing Rules We have all been racing together for quite a long time now so we should know what is fair and what is not. If you've caused an incident (KEEP RACING) you'll probably get reported at the end of the race and a penalty may be applied if you're found guilty. All Races (Lap 1 will be reviewed by stewards especially for turn 1 incidents) 4.1 Reporting an incident: Please contact Andy Blade or Jason Monds on discord. 4.2 Penalties The Stewards are Andy Blade & Jason Monds they will consider and vote on any reports and make final decision. Penalties will depend on the severity of the incident/infraction according to what follows: 4.2.1 Tier 1 (Avoidable incident) Where a driver has caused an incident and considered to be 100% responsible. A 60 second time penalty will be added to race overall time. 4.2.2 Tier 2 (Racing incident) When a driver has caused an incident but is not considered to have been 100% responsible.A 30 second time penalty will be added to race overall time. 5. Communications Discord is mandatory for all communications. https://discord.gg/Q7HRP4f **Note: A microphone is not required to participate. Team voice Channels are provided for chat. However all participants must be on the ESR Championship voice channel prior to practice commencing for any last minute admin issues. 6. Prize Draw N/A ** Please note that to qualify for the draw, drivers must attend 60% of the events and complete 50% of those attended events! *** While no-one will be excluded from the prize draw it would be hoped that any previous winners would return there prize to allow them to be re drawn.)
