Again, I am out for tomorrow. Just a small explanation of my job: Me and my wife are crew truck drivers in Europe and we work only with airport cargo. Typical work day - Leave Thursday morning at 01:00AM from Colney UK - arrive - Thursday 23:00 at Castel San Giovanni Italy (no info from office, just unload) - unloading is at 5AM I have to be awake at 3AM, I am unloading from my 9h rest period anyway.Friday 10AM office calls and say's, loading tonight at Malpensa Italy for Bruxelles (take 24h weekend break at home), yey!! Friday 18:00 office calls, the trip has changed, loading at Malpenza for Leipzig, you take 24h there...well fuck! and that is all week long 365days/year, so again I am sorry for my team and admins Was really looking forward to it, as I was really competitive on Mid-Ohio Good luck to all
I have a question. If I have no ping on the server, does that mean my return is so bad it can't be calculated? And what effect will that have in game?
First esr west box is not what we use to run the main race. Second the zero ping thing could be multiple factor on your end of the spectrum the only real thing that matters is once you are connected what is you ping(p2p) difference with everyone else. If everyone in there is over 250ish you might have problem at some point during a race. Is anyone else getting no ping on esr west right now?
So, thats your secret. I was chasing your ghost last night in the leaderboard challenge while drinking a couple of glasses of wine. I managed to get just under 1.29. Which for me is pretty good. This morning, clear headed, dead sober, barely got under 1.30. HMMMM, maybe,,,,,,
I'm not sure the new race time is working for me. Time is running and I still got some things to do, I hope I can make it this time, even with no practice
Thanks for the race guys, it was again well organised. I wish i could say i enjoyed the entire time but being clipped and spun out 4 times was aggravating to say the least . Thanks again @Mike Davies for giving me my place back after the incident although i forgot that it happened again in the same race without me losing a spot luckily. The incident in the second race with @MeMotS killed my race, went from 5th -19th with the engine damaged, it was a really cool clean battle we were having which led up to that point, looking back at the video from a different angle i think i should have been given the corner and a brief opportunity to recover The incident with @Andy Blade was very unlucky as it was the slightest of grazes that spun me out which could happen to anyone. See you guys next week
This is your rookie season with ESR @PresidentSmug? That was an Overly aggressive race with excessive Blocking, cutting off other drivers to maintain position and Bumper to Bumper chaos. Felt more like frustration. That being said Indy rules “9.3.2 Blocking – A Driver must not alter his/her racing line to pursuing Drivers.” And “I think there’s a difference between defending and blocking in the IndyCar world,” Hunter-Reay explained. “Blocking is using your mirrors and moving your car in reaction to the car behind. Defending is taking a proactive move and defending the inside line or defending whichever line you want to defend. It has to be proactive here. We all want to win but i wont take out another driver to keep my position. Last thing i want is to spin or spin someone else That race was nothing like the previous seasons of ESR racing I’ve been a part of. I hope you have better experiences in future races. Cheers Genghiz
