English European GT2 league - any interest?

This thread is to see who'd be interested in participating in a non-serious GT2 league and, if there's a decent amount of interest, get the ball rolling.

I'm thinking a race each week on a Sunday evening, 'get real' mode with full damage. I've got kids so it'll have to be after they're tucked up in bed - say practice starting at 8pm UK time with maybe 20 mins practice, 15 mins qual and then a 30 minute race. Not sure about pitstops and tyre wear - I don't have a preference here.

We'd have to keep track of the results and stuff, and sort out rules and all the other details, along with a stable host (so there'll need to be some test races). I can host on my other PC and have a decent fibre connection, but like I said, it'd need to be tested.

No doubt there'll be some issues trying to do this with the current dedicated server implementation and R3E client, but I think most can be worked around and none should be deal-breakers. Each driver would have to choose a car and livery for the season.


So... is there enough interest in this to get an informal league going?

 

It would be better if we could multi-class it with GT3's.

I would love to Mr belowski...commitment might be difficult for me...but I'll do my best and I'll keep an eye on the thread.

I am in!
Time zone and times are perfect to mine GMT+3 so no problemo for me to participate!

GT2, GT3 are preferred classes for me and of course we can multi-class them.

 

i would join as well, just dont make te multiclass too complicated (i mena gt2+gt3 is fine, but please dont mix in adac cars...)

Yes they are but they are rated differently and are noticably faster than the "normal" GTR3 class. They are faster in reality too.

 

I'm interested in this also, sunday nights is very convenient too.

Would be interested but my online participation has been lousy of late and Sunday evenings are the worst option. Like the idea though.

Sorry guys, I've not organised this yet, I'm being useless and got distracted hacking a little Java app which (if / when I get it working) will use the shared memory data to trigger playback of short audio files for some simple pit crew radio type stuff.

I still want to do a GT league tho

First I have to ask what a non-serious GT2 League is, but if required I can add some jokes while driving (with Teamspeak ? )
Why not adding GT 1 to the mix (incl. GT3 - would be a kinda "GTR" revival) , I like them but seems noone drives them..
