Thanks for the irony btw. My point was missed by a country mile, I gave some well known and important tracks that are missing from the game, tracks that are not done to death in other sims and you guys stuck in one word and made unbased assumptions. I dont like driving f1 cars or open wheelers for that matter and I hate tracks with huge run-off areas.
I bet there are stcc fans out there. My point was to give more weight to game development and if you are going to release more tracks, there are better ones out there than obscure swedish ones ported from an older game.

Indeed at first it was amusing with all those swedish tracks... now I feel I rather miss a lot of other bigger ones.
And if this means a new FWD Race car series coming, then...:confused:

    Bad day?

Anthony Monteil recently wrote in another thread:

".. we always pushed for Le Mans, but doing this track is sadly not so easy.. "

Don't you think there is a good reason why the most wanted circuits is'nt in game already?

I can only say that I own Race07 with all expansions, so STCC and STCC2 too. And I can still remember having an absolute blast driving the comparable not-so-high-powered WTCC/STCC cars on the swedish tracks. A blast. Blast. Did I mention having a blast? The tracks fit these cars perfectly. Now I hope we will get some TCR content at some point to drive some modern touring cars with a future on these. But we'll see what S3 will come up with.
    Obscure? Maybe. I don't know and I don't care - they're a blast...

Actually it's because Denmark stopped racing touring cars, and switched to Camaros. Just google "DTC" it's the main series here featuring drivers like Jan Magnussen as well. :)

I'll say it before and I'll say it again, the V8 Thundercars license. But hey, I'd be down for DTC too.
"Wienerbrøøøøød!" must be added to the track ambient sounds though.

With a Formula 1 class car coming, I would like to have the rest of the F1 circuits, like Monaco, Montreal, etc.
Who knows if F1 2017 will have VR support and if yes, it will be miles behind R3E in every aspect!

Or what about ovals for Formula US?

    But that's my preferences :)

It was explained earlier (if I remember properly in one of @Georg Ortner's video) that there are no current plans to add ovals. There are too many things which need to be redesign (especially AI's behavior).
I like Swedish tracks, so the more the better. Quality of them is high.

It's OT, but one thing I've always liked about the Codies Race Driver series is that they have these different AI profiles for the different categories, like the touring car drivers are more agressive and not afraid to make contact, while endurance racers are more cautious... etc.
Most of the sims never had this feature. For example, GTR 2 was optimized for multiclass racing, so the AI was way too careful for a single seater/touring car mod, Race 07 was quite the opposite, the AI was really good for close touring car racing, but in multiclass events cars from the upper classes constantly crashed into the back of the slower cars while lapping them. While rFactor 1 had this generic AI meant to survive on every type of circuit, which resulted those odd "pack of cars" racing side-by-side even on permanent/road courses.

Problem is that it's a roadcourse equiped Formula US car. To much wing/downforce. So I would like to see Long Beach, Watkins Glen, Twin Motegi Roadcourse, Road America, St. Petersburg, Montreal etc. And besides that, Sebring etc. So many circuits to wish for. But like in Automobilista... lesser known tracks are mostly that more fun!
