I want to share my settings with you. Wheel-settings: SEn 540, FF50, SHo 100, ABS 0, Lin 010 (maybe change it to 'off'), Dea off, DRl off, For 100, SPr off, dPr off. FFB multiplier GT3: 1200. I add other FFB multipliers next days. Have fun!
Cheers for doing this, my CSW 2.5 arrives tomorrow so this could be helpful, did you just set up the wheel with a new custom profile? or like someone else said use the V2 profile?
Hello, Any idea on what is the difference of dropping FFB on the wheel vs dropping Force Feedback Intensity in the game? Also, what minimal force do you use with CSW v2.5 and why?
I use '10' because of a feeling like a deadzone without minimum ffb. i guess there is no difference but im not shure.
Patiently waiting by the door for the delivery.. can't set it up till Monday, but will check your work out as soon as, keep them coming..
My setup for CSW 2.5/F1 Rim and paddles. Basically I am using Force Feedback Intensity value in game to lower FFB to ~30-35. Ideally I would probably prefer per-car multiplier, but I can't go below 1.000 there, and it still feels too strong. Basically, this is default S3 profile, but I bump Slip Effect/Shift Effect/Engine Vibration and make understeer more pronounced. The FFB on wheel is 100, Spring off, Damper off, dri: -5
Tarik when you got you wheel did you get a spare Oring for the quick release? it says we should but there isn't one in my box.
I got one with mine. (BMW GT2). It was in a small resealable bag. Can't remember exactly where it was in the box though.
Good to know, also did you get what looks like storage pins in a chrome finish stuck to the inside of the boxes? or are they something else, just seemed odd as I would of thought the plastic ones would be better.
That is the wheel lock in Screew... Look at the Rim Quick Release and then look at the wheel shaft on the Base... you will see where the screw Goes.... I Never use those Screws though... The Quick Release Holds the Rim on tight enough IMO
Tarik, is there any reason with this wheel we can't use the wheel range in the car setup menu? it's greyed out with N/A in the box. By the way your profile is good man
The Wheel is Not Fully Supported yet....Thats why there is No on screen v2.5 wheel profile... But there is a CSW v2.5 profile inside the Controlor profiles folder!!!.... Why the Wheel profile is Not Fully activated yet i dont know.... But My v2.5 Steering Soft Lock is working with R3E since last week and the DOR will be set automatically if you set the on wheel Sen setting to Aut... IMO even though it works it does Not Feel Right...the tires Scrub every turn.. Seems as if the Steering wheel resolution has been Reduced instead of just limiting turning Radius to match the car ... I set on wheel Sen 900 to deactivate game Auto setting DOR and adjust Steering range with the steering Lock setting in the garrage and all is butter smooth again...also The buttons and joy sticks still wont work to Navigate the Menu Screen or Make Selections yet though. As far as buttons Not working i posted a work around for that in the controlor profiles thread.... Works Great just activate Emulate mouse feature Check the thread and pic i posted for hiw to config the Emulate mouse settings.
All of it I hope.. Was testing in AC today, 2.5 is alot smoother in that sim and they don't have a full profile neither. And why do we have to set it up with inverted FFB in R3E with this wheel and other sims we don't?
