Yep, were never gonna set the world alight but had some quality over the years, been all downhill for the last 16 years tho, really sad living thru their demise, altho i did buy a half season ticket for them Saturday morning, the day we went bottom of Division 3
@Paul Darke: I have disconnected the PCB of the G25 along with the connector. So I can use them like that! Are you sure about the CSL pedals? They cost 90€ + 140€ for the loadcell. P1 wheel = 150 & clubsport steering wheel formula = 230. Maybe you had a beter price?
Haha, I agree. But I don't have 840 € for that (in fact, I find that it would be a bit too expensive) ... So, it will be without the pedals and with a Formula Wheel Rim @Paul Darke no problem
I don't get it? Your wheel cost 300 (okay, 299,95). The Formula Wheel 230. So, it's a difference of 70€?
https://www.fanatec.com/eu-en/racing-wheels/csl-elite-racing-wheel-p1-for-xbox-one-eu.html base and p1 wheel 469 https://www.fanatec.com/eu-en/bundle/product;bundle_id;107 Base p1 wheel and CSL brake set bundle 689 Wheel base alone 319 There are 2 different formula wheels 1 is 229 the other 299 To be honest with you the p1 wheel is pants, rock hard rubber, small daimeter and thin grip, i would just buy the formula or a different wheel but not the p1, going to be looking to buy a BMW gt2 wheel payday then this p1 is going on Ebay.
Yes that's also what I think about the P1... You guys are good at convincing me to buy the pedals too! So, I think that I will go for Formula Wheel ("low cost") version + CSL Pedals & brake cell + CSL Base Wheel for "only" 769,80... (797,71€ with shipping...). I changed my mind about the pedals because I'm still a student (20y) and I don't know how the future will be. So, I think that I have to enjoy sim racing now and hopefully later also But, it's expensive though (already bought a new computer in july, I have invested a lot since I'm 20...). Thanks
Send Fanatec a cheeky email asking if you can swap out the P1 for the Formula and pay the difference on the bundle price, 750ish a small saving but a saving all the same.
Why not a used set of CSR Elite or Clubsport Pedals? Both have load cell and a very good reputation, i use CSR Elite bought off Ebay dirt cheap, you may save yourself a good chunk of change going 2nd user, plus you probably got better chance of your money back off E than Fanatec should something go wrong. there are always some on E some relatively cheap. New wheel base and 2nd user pedals and rim could probably save you 150-250. And guaranteed your money back if they are not up to it off Ebay. Edit, and to add if your young and a student, why not 2nd user wheel too? You could get a nice T500-CSR Elite + pedals for around half you want to spend on the CSL and bits, just throwing it out there.
I did search on Ebay! But I didn't find it... Nor pedals, nor csl wheel. Thanks anyway, @Not Lifting Off
I'm not very fond of 2nd hand products... What if there's a problem, without any waranty... Don't know what to think about that...
I'd only buy with original invoice within waranty. Then there's no problem with Fanatec. Service is possible later as well, but you'll have to pay.
I bought it (new). To resume, I finally ordered this: CSL Elite Wheel Base EU ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula Black EU CSL Elite Pedals LC EU Thank you all for your comments, thought and ideas I hope that I will receive it for after my exams
