    I wish I'd written that.

Timing of Ferrari win seems awfully convenient.

"Major distributor of TV entertainment, sports and other programming including Discovery Channel, USA, QVC, Encore, and STARZ." sees most popular team win in first GP under the management of former Ferrari man, Ross Brawn.

Everyone is excited for the future (as they are, inexplicably, every year.)

    ferrari can win all they like , but yet again formula 1 proves that its about as much fun as placing your genitals in a blender ...;
    no racing , no overtaking
sorry but F1 needs a complete overhall , lets hope Ross Brawn (ex_ferrari , mercedes and a few other) can kick this bunch of muppets into racing ...
We need the ability for all teams to get equal monies and a racing regulation that actual allows that ... other wise its the continual slide downhill
anything would be good as at the moment its not

MotoGP all the way, true Gladiators, balls the size of Water Melons. Eight different winners on the trot last season and with Maverick winning yesterday, first time out on the Yamaha, this season things really bode well for yet another fantastic year.

Bottas held back from overtaking Hamilton, who by the way was far to happy with second place and little to zero overtaking, Hmmmmm, all feels more pantomime than sporting event but saying all that, still watched it and still amazes me how people drive on the edge so consistently and adapt to tyres/conditions at the flick of a switch.
Did titter at Toto banging the table (should have been slapping his thigh) due to the bungled early pit because Hamilton was crying over his tyres, everyone else managed 7-8 laps further, again Hmmmmm, did all seem a little stage managed to me, now why would it be, being owned by an American Media Company, surely not!

The overtaking is a worry, but on a more positive note: seeing Lance Stroll frantically move his steering wheel around trying hard not to crash, just like me, he seems to have no clue what he's doing, makes me feel vindicated: I am F1 material, I always knew it.

For what it's worth, I actually enjoyed angry Vettel, he was amusing. Now he's quiet and happy Vettel, which is bad. I hope things go a bit better with DRS at least on some tracks, because absolutely nothing happened in AUS.

Max trying to overtake Vettel after he exited the pit was amusing, because there was no real reason to do so, just for lolz, among "friends" :)

That moment when Timmy realises he has misjudged the crowd.......

Ignore us cynical old men. If you are enjoying the F1, and a lot of people are, then good on you.
I bet we all end up watching at least three or four races this year.....just so we can moan about how it was better in the old days.:)

Edit - I am aware of your approximate age, but age is not a date on the calendar.

If you are specifically commenting about the race in Melbourne being a bore then there is usuAlly never a lot of overtaking there. We need to see a few more races before being able to judge that aspect.
I have actually thought the racing over the last couple of years has been okay.

50% more grid girls.....I like how you think.
But was it just me, or were the Aussie Ladies a tad.....overdressed? And looking like middle-aged flight attendants.
Damn, October the eighth is a long way off.....

    Guess what?
I have not watched a F1 'race' in years...
    Just happy Ferrari won.
I have loved Ferrari since I was a small boy; first Scalextric car I had, was a Ferrari 312 T3.
    F1 problem?
    Technology.
The level is so high now.
Basically the teams are so close, as each year goes by, it becomes harder to 'race' each other.
So, it becomes a 'train' of cars..
Which is very boring to view.
Moving to all this 'eco' shit was a huge mistake.
They are racing cars, not 'city' cars for shopping in.
Rule book is all over the place; that is why the cars have fins, on top of fins, on top of fins..
Teams have found loop-holes in the rules, hence all the silly looking fins.
There is really a good argument to be had about binning the rule book altogether.
'The car has to be no longer than... the car has to be no wider than.. and no higher than..'.
'Right, off you go, build what you think will win..'.
'And you can use any make of tyre you wish..'.
'Test as long as you want'.
'3.5 engine tops, and that's it..'
May end up looking like 'Wacky Races', but it would be more fun to watch..

So, now you are calling me an idiot.
My dear boy, you make no sense what so ever.
I can only hope that they feed you well.
And that you get regular visits from your doctors.
