Hello racers, now that the festival season kicks off I wondered if you guys go to festivals and which type of festivals. In this Thread you can post if you have ever been to a festival or if you will go to one. And maybe there is another one who goes to the same festival! I will start. Last year I was at the Open Beatz Festival in Herzogenaurach/Germany. It was my very first festival and I was really impressed...it was awesome! This is the official Aftermovie: This year I will go to the Electric Love Festival in Austria with some friends. I was at Roskilde back in 03, Loved it! Lots of great bands, nice people and a bit to much liquor.. . (was hungover for about a week or so after that) The main band for me was Metallica. Had plans to go back, but met my wife in the spring the year after, and my festival days was history.. Don't think I could keep up several days on a festival anymore, I'm no youth anymore.. .

Definitively no Wacken for me, because it's too big and too commercialized. And most of the bands on Wacken are too soft for my liking.
