    Recommended wheel base settings:

    Sensitivity: Auto

    Force Feedback: 100

    Shock Vib: 100

    ABS: 100

    Force: 100

    Spring: Off

    Damper: 100

Allows the game to make full use of the wheel's damping. If you find there is too much, reduce through the game's Force Feedback Damper setting.

    Nat Damper: 10

An extra layer of damping which is applied at the wheel, separately to the game. Useful to tune out oscillations but will remove sharpness. I recommend you keep values very small (<10) here.

    Natural Friction: 5
    From the Fanatec user manual:
Use this value to tune out any oscillations and also to take up any slack/dead feeling around the centre of the wheel travel. I recommend you keep values very small (<10) here.

    Brake Force: Max

    Force Feedback Intensity: 100

Hello Alex, first of all thank you for your amazin work!

    I have a question:
The DD2 being 25% more powerful than the DD1, should I set the Force Feedback to 75 to have the same force feedback as you? Or does it work differently?

@STISH The best way when moving to a more powerful wheel base is to keep wheel settings the same - so keep with 100% power, and instead reduce steering force intensity by 25%. If you want exactly the same experience as me, I'm using 45%, so you're going to want 34%.

these are not the current values when choosing a new Podium profile right? confusing. Its a matter of taste, but what values are the latest now? the one in game or the one you postet?

It's personal taste, the default is *safe* but I's recommend staying between the defaults and those I've just posted.

I took the new default values and what shall I say, it feels good or of the box with my DD2. No need to tweak it so far

    They are greats on DD2!

Is it normal to feel the track much less on the new GT3s than on a Group C for example?

Oh @Alex Hodgkinson which is the value for Force Feedback strength on your DD1?
    Is it 50 percent?

He's right - you just need to turn down your -steering force intensity-

    I have a DD2 and it's set to 24

Oh, okay. But then I don't understand his posts. With his ingame and wheelbase settings theres much force.
On the Wheel he have FF100, Force 100. His game settings are FF Intensity 100 and Steering Force 45. How coulf he manage that? I have 50/100/100/45 in this settings and it's many :)

Yes, of course, look here, seems to be awesome:

I use Alex' suggested settings for both the DD1 itself and the in game settings. PERFECT!!
    Thanks for sharing!

haha and then I installed the latest Fanatec beta drivers (352) with other/new sliders. Anyone already tested that with R3E? Again any guidance is appreciated. Will also try (and probably with a lot of error) myself.

I've got the 352 beta sat on my desktop untested so far. Nothing broken here so don't want to rock that boat :p

This may be down to car FFB multipliers. Some are far too high at the moment which hopefully we will be able to hot fix. Somewhere between 1.5-2.5 is the optimal range now, so check that.
