Hi Nate, cheers, wasnt sure if i was imagining the min force :) Just assumed it would bump the low forces that didnt have a slider in the menu and all else would be as selected.
Back to the drawing board then for me, i was finding with the lateral and vertical much higher were making the steering too heavy, which in itself becomes tedious and hard work after a while. Might put this aside and try yours again for a few laps to compare.
    No worries, cheers.

Yeah, from my understanding, a simple way to explain it would be... that min force simply slides all of the forces up, so you can feel them on your wheel earlier. So, what you wouldnt feel before because it was too weak, you would be able to feel with min force added.

Yeah, steer force and the lat/vert forces play a big role in how heavy the steering wheel feels. It's really a fine balance that is needed which takes a while to find out what works best for you. I've had the benefit of loads of testing, since all this stuff needed to be checked before releasing, so I found a good balance for what works for me.

Id definitely recommend turning on the FFB meter to see if you are clipping or not. Because a heavy wheel does not always mean that you will be clipping. So, you may be able to get away with the heavier feel of the wheel without losing any FFB detail. Although, whether you like a heavy wheel is more a personal preference. But if you want the finer detail from bumps, vert forces will definitely help with that sensation. :)

    Cheers

This was on constant to help get an all round feel that wasnt clipping too much nor too heavy.
It is the heavy wheel i want to get away from :) Idealy i want light to med steering and the ability to feel the slightly more subtle fb which is where it seems the problem for me is in lat\vert strength and the effect on steering weight.
Cheers, i`ll have a play around.

Lol, naaa, couldnt justify nor afford to, this works for me, maybe not as nicely as the more expensive modern wheels but it beats the shit outta the keyboard\mouse\joystick combo :)

Ok, went back to your settings on the g25 which when i tried last time i liked altho a little too soft, noticed a little smoothing on yours so went back to mine added 5% smoothing and 15% min force and i really liked the way it felt, may not be perfect but its as good as ive had my wheel feel in this game.
    Thanks.

What are you using for Slip Effect, engine vibrations, kerb and shift effect?

If you installed the latest logitech drivers, it doesnt matter what you set in the driver settings, because everything will be regulated by the game itself.

Only important setting is to check the "allow game to modify settings" option.

It's not necessary to have the LG software installed (at least for me).

BTW, anyone can share a DFGT set up? i can't get a decent feeling, it just feel too weak.

My settings is all to 0 except FFB - 95% and "allow game to modify settings" is checked. 900 degree of course. (For both G25 and DF Pro wheels). In game i switch off all "fake" effects and Minimum Force i take from WheelCheck app. In my case its 4 for DF Pro and 11 for G25. FFB is excellent. I only reduce FFB in car setup to avoid clipping.

In order for all game features to work with your wheel, it is necessary.
Without the Logitech drivers the automatic wheelrange + damper and friction settings won't work.

If you installed the latest drivers you will be able to set the wheel rotation degrees within the game, for each car individually.

    Thanks for the reply.
I think my problem in USB 3.0 (i haven't USB 2.0), need to set wheel rotation degrees every time (for different car classes) manually. Not big problem, just uncomfortable

Hey guys. I have a question about what overall FFB force you use in settings. I'm currently using 100% FFB Intensity and I fix every car individually with FFB multiplier in garage. Usually I've had good experience with current 100% FFB Intensity value but yesterday I bought GTR3 pack and I noticed some differencies with cars. Especially with McLaren and Camaro.

In McLaren I could use my current FFB Intensity settings and get a good FFB feeling with the car and not clipping but with Camaro the FFB goes all crazy and graph is pretty spiky going to a redline in FFB meter. Camaro is also pretty bouncy in the corners when compared to McLaren. Can I compensate Camaro FFB issues (bounciness) with car settings or should I drop overall FFB Intensity value like somewhere around 80% and use the multiplier to get a smoother feeling in Camaro and go through all the cars with that 80% FFB settings?

What kind of overall FFB Intensity values you guys are using? Is the 100% FFB Intensity a bit overkill? I'm using T300 wheel by the way.

    Couple of things........

    1) Any chance that original post/thread be deleted/archived and replaced
    when new UI is introduced.
    when FFB is changed/updated
If settings are no longer valid

    2)
I was wondering the same thing, using the same servo.
GT3 Corvette, cornering... the clipping meter is flat against the top (above the red line), on smooth pavement.
Decreasing the multiplier, the steering goes limp with clipping only when I'm cornering over curbs.

I'm trying to achieve a more consistent FFB strength, without clipping, across my inventory of cars and wondered if it affects fewer cars if I turned down Overall FFB and adjusted with multiplier? Or the current 100% overall FFB, and decrease using multiplier?
