If the multiplier method does not provide satisfactory results, try decreasing the overall FFB or better yet, play with stuff like vertical load and lateral force.

Not sure what wheel you are using, but my personal general rule of thumb is to leave the overall FFB setting at 100%, then set the steering force intensity to 75% (that was what I generally used in older SimBin games), then set the other settings to base recommended values and gradually decrease them until you reach the sweet spot.

Basically what I think you should do is set the overall FFB to 100%. Set the rest to default values and test on the track. If you are going in a straight line and experience clipping when 'shifting' lane - decrease the Steering Force intensity. If you then still experience clipping with tighter turns, decrease the Lateral Force. Still clipping at curbs and bumpier corners, decrease Vertical Load. From what I have seen in almost every setting out there, is that Vertical Load is almost always about 15-20% less than Lateral Force. What Sector 3 recommends with 100-200% is way to much IMHO. At least for Logitech wheels.

Also, if you feel the wheel is a bit limp around the center, try increasing the minimum force. Steering Rack is just preference, I have it at 50% I think, but I don't feel any difference between this other settings.

    Hi,
I recently migrated to CSW V2 base and I noticed I do not get much of a feeling of kerb vibration. I increased Kerb Vibration setting, but feels like the effect is drowned in other effects. My in game FFB settings are pretty much S3S defaults, except that I have master FFB force at 100. Does anyone share my experience?

Another question is minimal FFB force setting. CSW AFAIK doesn't have a deadzone, is this setting at 10% by default intentionally? Thanks!

    Hi guys and girls!
I have finally got some spare space in my wife's old wardrobe after we have moved our bedroom down in the basement, and are going to mount my sim rig for good! :)
But do to the hassle with the assembling and dismantling I haven't used my wheel for over a year, so never installed the logitech profile on my current pc..

What are you who's sitting on a G27 using in your global settings?

Hi, this is valid also for if someone puts 100/0/0 settings? Isn't there a problem if the game finds 0 damping to modify?
Or the game, will simply modify the damping setting, taking the friction value from the game's setting?

Another question : is it possible to show us, your personal game settings for the G27?
    Thanks

@Dimitris Liakouris Yes. R3E overrides the profiler settings, as long as you allow it to.
I am using the default profile for the G27.

    Hi there,
I tried to enhance my ffb settings a bit for my fanatec csw v2 with bmw gt2 wheel. It felt quite numb.
Comments and suggestions for improvement are welcome.:D

Tried your entire settings for some laps around RedBull Ring with the Audi DTM (V2 base / Porsche 918 RSR and Formula Carbon).
In all, it feels lighter than my settings, but I don't seem to miss any effects, nor is the feeling dramatically different. With yours I could do endurance races, no sweat. With mine, a bit less :D
One thing, on your settings I seem to loose the back end of the car easier, with less warning, but maybe it's just me, needing to get used to the lighter feeling... ?

Only this from the RR FFB guide:

    *****
    Steering Rack:
Choose how much of the lateral forces are calculated using the steering rack of the car instead of the tyres.
    Recommended setting: Personal preference.

    *****
I did fiddle a bit with this setting in the beginning, but it was not very clear (to me) what it exactly did, so I left it at the last trying point.

    @Fanapryde,
tried your settings and like them. feel small differences , too. At one thing yours are very superior, you don't have this loose bashing in centerposition so much, but this seems to result from the settings on the wheelbase.
Thanks for your input, will fiddel around with it for a while!

Thanks Fanapryde for your settings, I have a great feeling with them, understeer is felt much proper so I can react much sooner and keep control of the cars.
